Iv'e done a lot of the recent ACE Wednesday trivias, and most of those clues seemed to play with is band member names, band's hometown, and song and albums names. So that's what I am trying to work now more so than themes.

I royally suck at these.. minimal thought.. when i looked at the flyer, the printing of the W was weird, then noticed the C in certain is lower case. . inconsistent..
Looked again and some letters are all capped and others all lower case.. I dont recall anagrams last year but there were some in prior years.. or possibly the lettering style would assist in interpreting the phrases?

Or maybe I just need new glasses.
Not to be a jerk but... That is just the design of that font.
'The Son of Man is a prominent motif in the 1999 art heist remake of The Thomas Crown Affair. In this film, a copy of the painting is prominently displayed in the home of the protagonist. The love interest takes note of it as "the stereotypical faceless businessman". The protagonist of the film uses numerous accomplices, all dressed like the subject of the painting, to confuse the police while he enters the museum to apparently return the painting he stole earlier in the film. The bowler-hatted men all carry identical briefcases full of copies of The Son of Man. It is also referenced in the 2006 film Stranger Than Fiction, and in the 2009 indie film (500) Days of Summer by a bowler hat with a green apple on it in the female protagonist's apartment.'

Fine you jerk, I'm taking my toys and going home. Kidding!
Was still a little curious as I do not recognize the font and the lower case C at the start of certain is inconsistent and does not align with the rest of the 'font'. If you take out the sure fire lower case letters of I and C, then enter one one occurrence of each capitol letter (assuming N, O, and U are caps) into an anagram generator it comes back with Self Wrought Man. Means nothing to me.. as do any of these clues. Good Luck! ( Self Wrought man - self - made man.. Howlin Rain? Track one the Russian Winds.. )

When I re-read the clue this morning, the first thing that came to mind was "The Walking Dead". So maybe Furthur is the answer. But, of course, I am guilty of trying to make clues fit for bands I really want to see .

The first thing I think of when I see "The Walking Dead" is The Rolling Stones.

Rising son of man = mr mojo rising Future was less certain = roadhouse blues (future is uncertain & the end is always near) Human contact gone = no Jim Morrison
Doors
my first thoughts exactly, but I dont see how that is a plausible answer unless....hologram!!!
don't know if this has been said but manzarek and krieger still tour together once in a while as "riders on the storm" and play full 2 hour doors sets. its actually a great show, especially if you love the doors and can accept that you'll never see morrison with them.

Phil Collins rising son of man - has a song called son of man The future was less certain - could refer to a band break-up or hiatus (Genesis) Human contact is gone - solo act i think it fits pretty great...
