Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I saw Mastodon on the Crack the Skye tour and when Divinations kicked in somebody threw a full cocktail clear across the crowd. It was a strangely amazing live music moment. That song makes me so crazy.

I saw the Black Keys at some bar in Toledo "back in the day" and these kids just spent the entire show shaking up bottles Bud-heavies and spraying everyone. The rest of the crowd was pretty into it.
I was on the rail for the Dillinger Escape Plan show at Bonnaroo in 09. The lead singer threw a packaged 24 pack CASE of water into the crowd. Does that count for crazy shit thrown at a show?
I saw a band called Black Dice years ago before they were a ambient noise band. The music started and the singer chucked his beer bottle at the bass player and then karate kicked an audience member in the chest. It was the first and only time I've ever been physically scared at a show .. and I saw GG Allin

I found out about Mastodon when Leviathan came out and that still remains my favorite album to date from them. I didn't get to see them live until Blood Mountain came out because I was a really broke college student when they toured for Leviathan.

I have had to drive to Atlanta 5 gotdamn times to see this band because that's normally as close as they come to me. I blew it this year though on driving up there to see them with Opeth and Ghost. I truly regret it but I just couldn't afford to do it by myself because it was in between jazzfest and hangout.
I agree, but I still love every album so much. Sometimes I feel like Hunter is better than Crack and sometimes I feel like Remission is better than Blood Mountain too. I have to be careful listening to Remission while I'm driving because it makes me want to plow over/through pedestrians like a madman.

Never got to see GG Allin, but the Murder Junkies played Mobile a couple of years ago. After their set was finished Dino (who always plays drums naked for those unaware) stuck both of his drum sticks up his butthole and moved them around in there a good bit. He then threw them in the crowd and people skattered like roaches. A friend of mine grabbed them and started fucking with people...running up to chicks acting like he was going to touch them with 'em. I think he still has those drumsticks in a big ziplock bag in his freezer. weirdo.
