Jesus I wish we could just get on with the bitching of the lineup all I have read for the past month is Macca Stones and though I am down for both for fucks sake I miss the days of Daft Punk for flava! Speaking of which anyone hit up Public Enemy? or Common how about a Jurassic 5 reunion? what about Ice Cube/ Ice T high noon in the sun meltdown jam? Who rolls at high noon other then a spunion? What about Twineman or Portishead? How about Deftones? what about a Ben Harper Superjam? can't we talk about Comedians? or what scent the bio-blue is in the porto's this year? How about food trucks will the XBox tent be back? I am so ready for a lineup so I can safely say that Destroyed By Angels is leading Trent Reznor down the Yoko Ono path? And who is that woman with him supposedly his wife? Does she have threesomes with the groupies? nothing like middle aged ex-goth/trentcoaters living out viagra fueled dreams of Trent loving up on them with razor blades and depression! Just let us get to the lineup THAT IS ALL!

I can't provide any tangible proof for any of you, but The Lumineers will be there.
Just the be clear, do you have tangible proof that you can't share, or do you just have a feeling?
Either way, I'm with you that they'll be there. Billed much higher than expected. Seems like a lock.
I apologize for not being clear. I don't have tangible proof because it was a verbal conversation. I can't reveal the source because I don't want to screw them over. As someone who reads through this thread every day, I'm well aware of how annoying that is.

Fleetwood Mac have dates in the Northeast the weekend of Roo.
Ohio isn't the Northeast.
Well, Cleveland is pretty far NE of Bonnaroo. Old folks like FLeetwood Mac are not going to play Cleveland one day, play Bonnaroo the next day, then play in Montreal two days later. Cleveland to Manchester is a minimum of about a 10 hour drive, and can be a lot longer in stupid-ass Kentucky traffic (ask me about the fireworks truck that held me up after 2011, and literally standing around on the highway after last year, too). So no Bonnaroo for FM.
So this is like the announcement for the announcement but they didn't give a date?
That's what I got from it. I hope this lineup is epic because they seem to be trying to annoy us and then win back our love with a splendiforous lineup. I want to know when it's going to drop!

I really think either the Lumineers or Of Monsters & Men will have the Foster the People slot this year. Seems about right.
I think The Lumineers will, for sure. They seem to be quite a bit bigger than OMAM, although they're both pretty big at this point.
But I think they'll both be at Roo. Fits Bonnaroo too well. Shouts of "HEY!" will be heard from the Which Stage all weekend.
Personally I think Passion Pit will have the FTP slot. It makes more sense to me based on their overall sound and how big they are although I am more exited to see Of Monsters and Men. I don't think Lumineers will be billed that high. They've only really had that one single.

I'm not sure where the Lumineers would be billed for Bonnaroo - but they're on the same line (different day) as Passion Pit for Coachella. I think between having that one song everywhere, including in all the Silver Linings Playbook commercials, the two Grammy nominations, the performance upcoming at the Grammys, being the musical guest on Saturday Night Live and now headlining at the 17-000-20,000 capacity Merriweather Post means they're pretty well known.

A lot of people are probably kicking themselves for not seeing their show last year at Hangout (which was a really fun show, with some Bob Dylan covers etc) now. What a difference a year makes.

I've been hearing Stubborn Love plenty on Sirius. Lots of time before Roo for more people to get to know them as well.
