So I wasn't at the show, but apparently The Xx confirmed that they were playing Roo this year at their show at The Ryman last night.
I saw that on Bonnaroo's facebook. We had a couple of people on here go, so I am curious if it was something that was said to the crowd at large or just the person who posted it on facebook.

Yes. The XX were confirmed long ago. I'm glad I get to see The XX because I've seen bands from every letter of the alphabet except for X so it will complete my list.
Our good friend Johnny Davis is at it again, guys. Go look at Bonnaroo's wall. He responded to someone's comment about The XX announcing their Bonnaroo appearance at the Ryman by saying, "lol we confirmed the XX like a month ago on inforoo, dummy"

"WE," YOU GUYS.
Yea, he wrote another post saying we confirmed Mumford and Sons and Widespread Panic on here. Dude's a tool.
On the plus side he also included "Sang's Mom" as a band confirmed for Roo....so there is a silver lining to this lol
FWIW, I was at The Ryman show and didn't hear them say anything about 'Roo. I really feel like that's something I would not have missed had it happened.
Also, with regard to The xx, I realize that while I love their music, I have zero desire to see them live. Like, none. If they aren't conflicting with anyone at Coachella I'll check them out, but based on the day they're playing (Saturday) there's no way in hell they aren't going to conflict with someone or something amazing. I'm much more excited for Jamie xx's set than I am for The xx themselves.
Just want to use this moment to remind all of you to hop on Soundcloud and go listen to Jamie xx's 55 minute Boiler Room set right now. RIGHT NOW.
I saw them at an 800-person venue right after the first album dropped and it was absolutely incredible. Then the Bonnaroo show was just mediocre. I think it's the kind of music that lends itself more to intimate spaces.
And yeah, Jamie XX is the king of the remix. He's the man.
he's such a tool; the kind of people i wish didn't know about Roo. He wants to be that cool guy who knows the lineup, but he put bands on there that aren't even officially confirmed yet so he will make himself look like a goon when these FBers ask where the proof is for a specific band or that band isn't on the line up. plus he's re-posting it on every post that bonnaroo has made in the past few days.. fawekfgwalhegovwejhg;oiwahetil
I think The Lumineers will, for sure. They seem to be quite a bit bigger than OMAM, although they're both pretty big at this point.
But I think they'll both be at Roo. Fits Bonnaroo too well. Shouts of "HEY!" will be heard from the Which Stage all weekend.
Personally I think Passion Pit will have the FTP slot. It makes more sense to me based on their overall sound and how big they are although I am more exited to see Of Monsters and Men. I don't think Lumineers will be billed that high. They've only really had that one single.
