Deadmau5 would be a hard book this year. He is very open about HATING playing festivals, and even discussed it last week while live streaming.
Lolla seems to have no trouble booking him, he's doing both Chile and Brazil next year. Roo definitely has deep enough pockets to book him.
Someone called him out on that during his live stream and he said he had a special relationship with Lolla.
I mean, just cause he hates festivals, doesnt mean I guess he wont play them. His booking agent is prob like tough shit brah they threw a bunch of money at us, you're playing!
Jack White said the same thing yet he played a bunch of them this year. I don't think it means a whole lot. I would love it if we got Deadmau5 again. I discovered him from the 2010 lineup and thought the music was kind of boring but it looked like a fun show. I went over to his tent after Gwar and it was quacking awesome.
I've heard nothing but positive things about Wolfgang Gartner from festivals and shows he's played this year. That will be a good show.
I am really excited to start learning names. Thank you everyone for all your snooping around!
Well if you think about it just about every place they could put it is closer to the campgrounds
Condense...or demolish the cinema and comedy tents and put up the lunar stage i understand "and arts festival" but really that much space devoted to catching some AC in a dark building?

The Cinema and Comedy tents are amazing. I don't like it when people say to remove them. It's not just for Air Conditioning. They have awesome things going on there.
In the movie tent, Manders and I watched the Danny Clinch documentary about Preservation Hall Jazz Band and My Morning Jacket and then got a performance from Pres. Hall in that tent. It was awesome. Also, the Trapped in the Closet singalong was really fun and funny.
Thanks to the comedy tent I've been able to see comedy sets from Louis CK, Aziz Ansari, Patton Oswalt, Workaholics, Flight of the Conchords, Reggie Watts and many more without having to pay for a full price ticket for their regular shows.
Oh god how I wanted to go to the trapped in the closet singalong!!!! But I had been awake for 36 hours and the drugs were no match for my lack of sleep, needed to be prepared for the weekend!
