Aw man, I forgot Herbie Hancock still tours. gabfrab you should go annoy their management for me
This slays me every time. The funniest part is missing in that GIF though--when the camera cuts to Chris Farley's face and he has the most smug/confident look on his face after writing that answer down.

The funniest part to me is that John Hancock wouldn't even be technically correct. But I'm a nerd.
AC Entertain just announced She & Him in Nashville June 13 (Thur) at The Ryman. No way would they book that and not Bonnaroo. I would consider them confirmed.
AC Entertainment also had The Weeknd booked for the Wednesday after Bonnaroo last year and he wasn't there. The circumstances of this booking make it seem much more likely though.

scratch that She & Him confirmation. With their other tour dates, it seems unlikely they'll play Nashville Thur, Roo Friday, then get to TX Saturday.

Starting to wonder about Atlas Genius. They put all there tour dates for spring and summer that they have right now on FB. They don't have anything for that Thursday or Sunday of roo...but they have on there that they are playing Firefly, and Firefly lineup is not out yet.

Saw this on a Mccartney board. Certainly lends credibility to MACCA!! Posted: 12-10-2012 12:54 PM Post subject: The organization of the biggest festival over here, Pinkpop (14-16 June 2013), announced some new names today. Much more interesting, they also mentioned that negotiations to get Paul McCartney to the festival were at an advanced stage, but they lost the negotiation war to an American festival in the same weekend.
So... 1+1=2. Is Bonnaroo (13-16 June 2013) finally getting their long-awaited McCartney set?

Let me jump in here before the wolves excoriate you. Yes, we've been all over this one. Even had a Belgian translate for us, to see if we understood the wording. That's where the Macca talk actually started before others started confirming it with their own information. Cheers!

Did they have a link to the article? Trying to figure out of it is a new interview or the one from a month or so ago.

1. We have known this for a while. It has been discussed ad nauseam. 2. We aren't exactly sure that is what the promoter of the festival said. Its possible, but it difficult to tell what the intent of the promoter was with shitty translations. 3. Good luck. Most will not be as gentle as I.

The "POSTED 12-10-2012" leads me to believe it is from about December 10th of last year. Or maybe October 12th.

That would put 1/2 of Monsters of Folk at Bonnaroo. Too bad Oberst is on the "No" list. I would imagine Mike Mogis would be available if Oberst was.
I was at least hoping for some guest spots between Jim and M. Ward, but S&H dates make it seem like they're not staying for the entire weekend.
Back in October we had a festival here in Mexico where both MMJ and M. Ward played. M. came out during MMJ's set for "Off the Record", and Jim came out with M. for like 3 or 4 songs. I guess that's as close as I'll get to seeing the Monsters of Folk.
It means nothing. Whenever they update the site with news, any bands in that post gets a "Tag". Thats all it is.
You're going to have to re-post this each time a new page starts. Thanks.
Lol, I didn't understand what you guys were talking about earlier ITM. When you said tags, I thought it was just from the Bonnaroo365 YouTube channel. I should have paid closer attention. Either way, I thought it seemed pretty out of place. My confusion is now resolved. Thanks.
