With nobody being able to send emails to booking agents and managers I am afraid we won't be finding out any more hardly until the lineup drops. Every now and then you get lucky on facebook and twitter, but its rare.
At least we have enough to keep us calm till next month. Lineup should be released exactly a month from now.
I just looked in the mock lineup thread and saw one that makes sense and it got me thinking.
The headliners listed were: Macca, Mumford & Sons and WSP 2 shows. We heard somewhere (it was a while ago) that M&S was headlining. We all know about the Macca rumors that are still burning hot Insider isn't around yet, and many expected (or hoped) she'd already be here which could mean they want to keep Macca under wraps until the lineup hits, or shortly before.
My point is: yeah, Macca is an awesome #1 but one headliner doesn't make a great top line. Macca is expensive, obviously. So, my theory is that AC is unevenly spreading the headliners, and M&S and WSP are cheaper. Much cheaper. Now, because the headliners aren't that great (obv with exception of Macca) they are treating us with a stellar undercard.
I believe the Mumford rumor also involved them only playing four US shows in 2013 which has turned out to be false. The undercard is definitely top notch so far though.

Yes, it did involve them playing just 4 shows, but I think that changed when all 4 shows sold out in 15 minutes, so they added dates later at the same venues

^^ to add to this comment, I actually was lucky enough to live near Camden and snagged tix for both their shows...the first one sold out in 10 minutes and the second sold out in about 20....so for two nights to sell out in 30 minutes total seems like they'd bring a huge crowd reaction...not to mention I saw them in 2010 at Roo and the place was retardedly crowded
Hey folks! Long time lurker, occasional poster. I know this is the "Artist Direct Confirmation Thread", but I've got some thoughts and a belly full of beer so let's DIIV in. I'm fortunate enough to be one of the 608 people Bonnaroo follows on Twitter by virtue of my Spinner coverage last year. As a voracious consumer of all pre-festival lineup news, I took a look at some of the bands Bonnaroo has followed since they followed me back in September. Those bands include;
Divine Fits Tauk Mac DeMarco Roadkill Ghost Choir Deap Valley Fort Lean DIIV The Last Bison Team Spirit Conveyor Sea Wolf Electric Guest Elle King High Highs Delta Spirit Karmin Tame Impala The Lumineers Lana Del Ray Neko Case Andrew WK
Now to be fair, some of these artist Twitter accounts are follow worthy in their own right outside of whether or not they're actually booked for the fest in 2013. I just thought it might serve as interesting fodder until the sweet baby Insider returns and guides us to lineup salvation. Can't wait to get back to the farm for year no. 5!!!

Good call on finding bands that Bonnaroo has followed since a few months ago.
That was one way that we got a lineup leaked....or artists leaked hours early was when Bonnaroo started adding bands to their myspace friends or something like that. Eventually they started adding random weird ones to throw us off but they still revealed a few.
1-1-12 Bassnectar NYE SHOW! 1-21-12 G. Love and Special Sauce 3-1-12 Radiohead 3-9-12 Experience Hendrix 5-15-12 Jack White @ The Ryman 6-7-12 Bonnaroo 6-19-12 Roger Waters presents "THE WALL" 7-7-12 Ringo Starr's 72nd Birthday Party Extravaganza at the Ryman

Here's one the old fashioned way. I went to a 250 person benefit show in Providence last night. John McCauley headlined the night. I spoke with him early on in the evening and asked about Bonnaroo and he said that he was playing! However, I didn't get chance to ask which band he'd be playing with- sorry.
Also The guys from The Low Anthem were there. They aren't playing.
I was at Jeff Mangum last night. He was very receptive to questions while tuning his guitars inbetween songs. I asked if he had any festivals planned...I guess I didn't ask loud enough.

Andrew WK would be a hilarious and entertaining LN.
