Didn't really think about it too much. then again I've seen MMJ, errr.. 6 1/2 times (I call 2008 a 1/2 because of party favors, rain, and some craziness - but heard the entire 3hrs from home base, chilling on top of the car). Only saw Radiohead this year, and I'll admit the show was good but I've decided that unless I go to a non-festival show I will never hear the more rare songs from their collection. Also it was overwhelming in that "don't tell me how to feeeeeel Radiohead" way MMJ just makes me dance like a fool - while still being intrigued by their musical choices.
Based on the comments I've seen and my own struggle to answer this poll, I almost think the more interesting question is "was this a no brainer for one side or the other - and if so, which side?" versus "did you have to really think about this one before you made a choice?"
I made my choice in an instant. It took me longer to log on and type it.

Not necessarily. Extensive light shows can also be a crutch (see half of the EDM universe). But I honestly think Radiohead's current tour is the perfect audio/visual show. Impeccably choreographed, big but not overwhelming, keyed thematically with the music.
MMJ, but not an easy decision for me. OK Computer & Kid A are permanently etched in my brain from the number of times I have listened to them. I also think they put on great live shows, interpreting the music in a way that helps make sense of it all. I did not appreciate King of Limbs until their arena show in Atlanta.
3 years ago I would have told you that MMJ would never take that top spot from Radiohead. And it is a close one for me, but I've flipped. MMJ FTW!
I honestly would have thought Wilco had a better chance to take the top spot than MMJ. But their last 2 albums have been disappointing.

This is the hardest question I've had to answer since soup or salad.
If it's based just on live shows, MMJ wins. However, if I could only listen to one of them for the rest of my life, it would be Radiohead, hence why I voted RH.
Again, it's all personal preference (and I love both bands, don't get it f*cked up), but to me MMJ is just a "great" band - the kind where you get 2-3 of them every handful of years, the kind that reaffirm your belief that people are still making good music. Other modern/current bands I'd put in this category are Wilco, Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, etc., all of whom I believe hold the same position for people of various fanbases/genres as do MMJ.
Meanwhile, I think Radiohead belongs on the short list of the Greatest Musical Acts of all time, and they to me are a generational defining/defying band who, when all is said and done, will be recognized as one of the biggest and most influential groups of all time.
So that's where I stand. But yeah, to each his own blah blah blah.
Nailed it.
Although I will say that it becomes a much more interesting debate if you're talking about who the better live band is. I personally think it's a no-brainer that Radiohead's recorded output is superior to Jacket's, but if you're comparing them as live bands...I don't know, it's pretty neck and neck. Jacket's reputation as a live band is more or less the thing that's keeping them relevant (not that Evil Urges and/or Circuital are BAD records, but if they weren't such an acclaimed live band, I think their popularity would've probably waned in recent years).
Regardless, though (from Merriam-Webster's dictionary):
