While Im typing - Lets talk MOOG-Tus. Im making solid black ones with white panda tails for anyone in the Panda Posse who wants one. If anyone wants a different Moog-Tu (i.e. Non-Panda), let me know. I was thinking that the "main" Panda dress up day could be Friday? Everyone down with that?

What are you doing for a tail? I was thinking about making a panda-tu. Also, I don't think costume derails this thread. Logistics is about the details... and costume is an important detail!! I am ok with any day. Friday works.

Well - I googled it. And Panda's have white tails. So that detail is known I did a precursory check of pompoms at Joann, and the white poms they have aren't big enough for a tail (only 3''). So I want to check Hobby Lobby (MECCAAAA) to see if they have giant poms (maybe 5''-7''?). If so, I'll just whip stitch a giant pom on. If NOT - I will MAKE a tail. Two giant circles of the white panda hood fur, stitched together, stuffed with batting, stitch on rear.
I'll let you know how the pom searching goes - I'll make you one to pin on your Panda-tu when we meet in AVL if you want! Save you buying like, an 1/8 a yard of fabric

I believe we are staying at Cliff's, but as I have no idea what the proximity is from his home to where Moogfest is so not sure of the logistics. Also, if trashed enough I may pass out in the corner of someone's hotel room.
Anybody else think it would be hysterical to wear panda outfits to brunch? A patio full of pandas. No way in hell could anyone miss us.
I'm in. Brunch is Saturday right? If all goes well and we pass out in our panda costumes Friday...this could wind up happening unintentionally anyway. ;D

You guys - as those in chat saw last night - the Panda Hood turned out to be oh-i-dont-know, Amazing. I cut out fabric for 4 more. EAP, CKS, Abra and Bonz (i think bonz? didnt you want one?) have them.
I'd also like to say that GL said something to the effect of, "damn, now I'm on the panda train." ;D So I'll assume that GL wants one too I'll get someone to take a pic of me in it, and i'll post it later this weekend.
