This is a guy who would buy Drake tickets. Get out
Im not a big fan of drake he puts on good live show ...i dont care what yall say
Obligatory "Drake sucks at rapping" post:
In this corner, weighing in at 21 years active, 1 truly (+) solo album and key contributor to one of the greatest and most important hip-hop collectives of all time......INSPECTAH DECKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK (raucus cheering, Meth Tical & the Chef spark up, RZA working the corner)
Aaaaaaand in this corner, coming in with 6 years active, no plus solo albums, atrocious lyrical skill, lackluster effort on tours, collector of embarrassing Chris Brown slap fights and just another cog in today's effortless hip-hop sh*t machine.....DRAKE! (golf clap, Young Money tries on each other's skinny jeans - Nicki Minaj tears Tyga's, Weezy robot-voicing the corner for Drake)
DINGDINGDING
And we didn't even make it out of the first round! Blow after vicious blow, that was truly a lesson from the crafty and skillful veteran over his young, brash, talentless counterpart.
In all serious, this is the nicest possible way I can say that Drake is just insultingly terrible without directly attacking your opinion.

My buddies are really into Hopsin, but they bring up a valid point I think, I'd rather see Tech Nine before I see Hopsin. He's very much the deeper catalog version of Hopsin, and idk what kind of draw he would receive from everyone else, but I would definitely be very interested to hear his set. And yeah, Trickey, thats what I assumed. I'm more partial to Mos than Talib as far as solo stuff goes so I'd really like to see him solo sometime. I know, there just won't be a repeat like that in back to back years. Maybe 2014, with a new Mos album in '13 or '14? I can hope.
I would love to see The Cool Kids in a Thursday spot. I never hear of them doing shows or touring though. Anybody have any knowledge on whether they have or will be touring?

i didnt say he was a better lyricist i said he puts on a very good show.
kendrick is a better lyricist than danny brown but danny had the better show.
its clear a lot you guys think youre hip hop elitist so i wont even continue to argue.
anyway i hope their are some good hip hop acts next year

You and me both. Drake not being there would be a great start.
yeah ok but mac miller and yelawolf were there last year and though some say theyre horrible...im pretty sure some people had a good time at there show.

Neither of those guys are any good. Mac Miller has absolutely no discernible talent whatsoever. Yelawolf at least has Eminem to ghost-write some decent verses for him, but he's not anything worthwhile, either.
I don't care when these acts show up on the lineup, it means a show I want to see will be less crowded, but they're terrible.

I know they toured with Mac Miller back in the Spring. Not too sure what they're up to now. Not sure if I'd really wanna see them though. They contributed to the worst concert I've ever been to.

It was free. And there a woman and liquor involved. Help my case any?
Not by much, but it's at least excusable.
And I'm speaking from experience. I've been to Beyonce and Lady Gaga shows for the sake of getting laid. FWIW, I'd see both of them again if I didn't have to pay. Having watched a Mac Miller performance stream one night, I can verify I'd never see Mac Miller, even for free.

I regret my decision to this very day. I'd pay copious amounts of cash, perhaps even my first born, to avoid another Mac Miller performance.

thats your opinion, yelawolf is corny but his show did have some good energy to it. im pretty sure a lot many people who werent big fans of his left that show happy
Saw these guys last Tuesday in Des Moines, IA and the show was amazing. Any time you can put on a show like that on a weekday in bumf*** Iowa, I want a 'roo appearance.

I'm going to start this by saying I root for the NY Jets.
The other day I came across a funny piece entitled "You know your QB sucks when you say these 21 phrases at some point." It was funny, but incredibly accurate.
You continuing to reference the energy of poor artists to justify their concerts is right in line with an NFL fan saying something along the lines of "Playing quarterback is about a lot more than just stats." (And, yes, I've said this about Mark Sanchez before).
Stop defending the Mark Sanchez's of hip-hop, I stopped defending the real Sanchez, so I know it's possible.

haha..good one. i see what your saying but you really cant compare sports to music because their arent really concrete stats in music. its all subjective. I guess its all what personally entertains you. for example I didnt know any of her songs but I thought fiest was entertaining because she has a lot of raw talent in her voice and her music is very rythmic whereas Bon Iver was terrible for me because his music alone didnt move me. I think his music is more about the lyrics and me not knowing the lyrics kind of made the show boring sort of like kendrick.
