I really don't understand people's perception of Muse. People would always say they're just another band that was formed by the success of OK Computer.. when in reality they aren't even similar to Radiohead that much at all.. I've seen Muse twice live, and they are ALOT more energetic than any of the headliners of the past 3 years that I have been to Bonnaroo.
The Foo fighters are the only other one I'd want to headline.. Coldplay has only 1 sound for how many albums? And I dont see the Killers as being headline material. But Muse would absolutely kill it at Bonnaroo.
I voted Muse solely on the fact that I have seen all other three within the last year and have yet to see Muse. First time shows on the farm always make for a better experience.
Otherwise though, Id be most excited to see Foo Fighters again. They have the material to hold down a solid headlining slot and it would be pure rock. Im also holding out hope for a Them Crooked Vultures show, and having Grohl on the farm brings us 1/3 of the way there.

Mumford & Sons are the more logical choice considering the massive crowd at their 2011 Which show.
ZBB way before Mumford, I think Mumford have another album and another go around before they take the Friday. I think ZBB is more suitable for Sunday than Friday, but than I am one of the few that enjoy ZBB. His studio stuff is ok, but them live is really good. Their 2010 performance on the main stage was not that great IMO but their 09 performace and every time I've seen them has been very good. I think they are more "jam" than people give them credit for in the sense they push their music limits and just follow what the crowd is feeling.
I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.

wait a minute, FRIDAY HEADLINER?!?!? no way any of these should be a friday headliner...put them in the saturday headliner spot like RHCP so the LN sets can make up for it...
Would No Doubt have headlined festivals in their days of highest popularity?
My brother went to a festival they headlined in '97 (at the height of their career) in Fort Worth, unimaginabley titled "Rock Fest". Super lame, mainstream crap but still close to 400,000 people attended. They were pretty big in those Spider Web days. Still doesn't justify getting a Roo headlining spot IMO. I highly doubt we'll ever see them on the bill (at least I hope).
