I used to own Master P's "Ghetto D" album and blast it while riding around with my friends, with no sense of irony. I could probably still sing every word of the title track if forced at gunpoint. also, Eazy E's "Gimme That Nut." and many other songs of which I am not ashamed, but those two are probably the worst when you consider that at the time I was a 16-year-old white girl in the suburbs driving around in a Pathfinder, drinking Everclear from emptied-out grape Fanta cans.

Amazing. Here performance of "Coyote" was a highlight of the film for me. I've never listened to the entire box set.
You should. The whole thing has such amazing energy and playing, and then Joni comes out and it turns into The Band Shreds as they aimlessly amble around her songs trying not to get in the way.

About half of the time, I don't know most/any lyrics to what I'm listening to. I tend to listen under the vocals and listen to the beats/instrumentals.
MMJ's Dondante from Okonokos (sp.) is one of my most played songs on iTunes, and I didn't know what it was about until earlier this week.

What's it about?
I remember during the great Radiohead/MMJ debate I looked up the lyrics to Librarian because I always thought refrain was super corny and I wanted to make fun of it. I then read through all the verses that I had never really paid attention to before and was really impressed.

Jim's friend who committed suicide.
Random thought but don't feel like going to that thread: I was in a record store and saw Nilsson Schmilsson, thought of horn's avatar and immediately started laughing out loud.
Actually a majority of the bands playing Roo I've never heard of until I joined this site and started looking into them. It still amazes me how one can listen to so much music! I tend to stick to one artist/band for years. I'm working on it though.
I've discovered that I really like Local Natives!
And here goes a confession I've never told anyone. Recently I rewatched the 2nd Mortal Kombat movie....and I enjoyed it. Don't judge me.
I'm not a pop girl, but I decided a few days ago that I am a Bruno Mars fan. I have a tendency to be drawn towards lovey dovey music as a whole and you can't deny he's got a voice.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I just realized while washing my hands in the bathroom at work that I have a small hickey on my neck and I can't stop giggling about it. I've officially regressed back to adolescence.
And I just had to look up how to spell "adolescence."
I sort of thought I was going to die yesterday because I didn't have any feeling in my hands. Today it's better so you have to put up with me longer haha...cr****
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
I always say I don't hate any music but I've been trying to listen to some NIN and well... I mostly hate it.
I'd just like to point out that the confessions post I made up there about the hickey was like 2 months ago and I've grown up a lot since then. Don't judge me.
