Jane's Addiction would be a much better fit since they have radio song's from the 90's. However, if they got added I would expect a ton of complaints from religious people because the word "addiction" is in their name. "We don't need these NO NO WORD!!!-fueled homogay satanists corrupting the youth of our fine city!!"
I have yet to see MMJ, and have actually missed seeing them, at places I was at, like 4 times. If they are playing I'm skipping Godspeed. I will drive to B'ham the night before to see em'. I won't miss Jane's in Mobile either. I'll be front row for that shiz

lolololol@Bayfest piecemealing this goofy ass lineup together. Oh shizt son, dey got day Charlie Wilson! Dotchu know he the spokesman for the national prostate foundation?!! WORRRRRD SON
Dennis Fingerroll Nelson is a Mobilian who is a session man in L.A. He plays every year. He is not to be missed if you go to the fest!
Dude absolutely shreds. I missed his Jimi Hendrix set last year because I was at Panic, but the year before I saw him with a big band shredding "Big Poppa". AWESOMENESS.
He did a Santana set the next day in the Jazztent......my face was totally melted....then I got dragged by lesbians to go watch Reba......weird. Fancy'd.

i dunno...they deleted that update and made another update about the "R&B acts." We'll see if more additions get announced today, but I wouldn't bet on it. www.bayfest.com/sc_dates.php there's already a schedule online...
I'm probably only going friday night for Pat Benatar. If Willie gets added, I hope he plays friday.

"Today's announcements have been moved due to logistics. We will have some act announcements this Friday and then the final line-up will be announced on August 30 at 5:30pm! We've got some big ones coming and it'll be worth the wait!"
Ugh, Bayfest is delusional for thinking this method of lineup drop was a good idea.

Totally! It doesn't really affect me other than being annoying, but for people that want to travel to the festival it pretty much screwed them out of being able to book a hotel room within walking distance.

Well we still need bands for sunday on the Coca Cola stage. Kind of waiting on that before I commit fully to going to pretty lights in NOLA on Saturday.

Willie Nelson has to on there for friday or saturday. The whole thing with Pretty Lights initially saying that he was playing and now he has a huntsville date on his website for sunday.

He would fit as the Saturday headliner on the at&t/Ford stage. No acts announced there yet.
I can't believe I'm analyzing and speculating about bayfest. ;D

definitely expect Willie on Saturday. Grace Potter has to play on Sunday; She was listed also by PL and that's the only day that weekend that she's not booked.

I'm sure Pretty Lights was way cheaper than Journey and Bush. I believe clevelndmike's real question is "how did they suck something semi-relevant into a festival that generally books derp radio garbage?" We debated this earlier in the thread and believe that someone new may be involved in booking acts for Bayfest.
