Yea, but you were piggy-backing off of Jess' point, which is that the show was somehow, without exception, bad for everyone. Even the people that enjoyed it.
How was I suggesting that it was "bad for everyone" - I even pointed out that many of my friends enjoyed it. I'm just reinforcing the point that not everyone obsesses over Radiohead and there are people who in fact didn't think it was that good. It's a hard concept for Radiohead fans to wrap their head around, I know.
I love how this particular passage irked you so much that you felt the need to respond to it twice, in two separate posts.

Didn't think I already did, but it's still a ridiculous statement regardless.
To each his own, but I didn't even attend Roo this year, and that live Radiohead stream was straight up orgasmic. Boring and horrible would be the last possible words I'd use to describe it.
I thought the stream was boring.
Most of my friends at Coachella and/or Bonnaroo said it was a letdown.
You neglect to mention the other friends who enjoyed the show specifically though. I wasn't making a huge leap here, you were trying to highlight the people who disliked the show.

I actually tried to stay on topic for a while. Check out the top of page 4 (I think? Maybe 5.) Like serious effort was put in. I think most people did as well. But, like all good things, it had to come to an end.

I don't actually care for serious discussion of this. I just wanted lols and was thanking you two.
edit: if you want srs discussion Jonny is the only tolerable and interesting thing about Radiohead, including their live show, these days.
Can I ask when, exactly, Radiohead filled your vagina with sand? It's one thing to be like "I found it boring, didn't really like the set," but you're trying to convince people that lots of other people didn't like it as well. And it's not even like you're being all "if you liked it, you must have bad taste." It's like you're trying to somehow PROVE that it wasn't good by citing other people's opinions. It's absolutely bizarre.
For instance, I know that MC doesn't care for Phish. But I have yet to see him, or anyone else go around all "yeah, I didn't like it, and neither did any of my friends or anyone around me."
I honestly think that you're upset at the backlash - when the tour was announced, you were all "yeah it's gonna suck because its nothing but King of Limbs and In Rainbows," then the tour started and the reports came in that no, in fact these shows were pretty excellent (immortalized in the "Jess Was Wrong" thread), and now you're on a mission to prove to everyone that no, you're right, it was actually boring and terrible and that's what everyone thought. Maybe that's not the case, but ever since the festival you've been on a pathological mission to not only express your own disappointment with the set, but also to politely remind everyone on here that there are LOTS OF PEOPLE WHO AGREE WITH YOU. We get it. Half of the people at Camp InfoJess weren't fans (though that's odd, because the Inforoo vets on here seem to be near-universal in their praise of the show, so I guess these must be all the people at Camp Inforoo who apparently never post on the board). Now let's move on.
There are plenty of people who post on here who also said it was boring get the quack over yourself. RDK comes to mind and plenty of others. Nice meltdown though it makes me glad to think you billed a client 74.36$ in the time it took you to write it.
You're missing the point of his post entirely. I don't know why I'm bothering with you at this point because you knew you were going to pull this stupid bullhonkey since they got announced on the lineup.
And for the record, Juggs, I actually do enjoy Phish at times. However, I thought their show this year was painfully boring. I've only seen them twice before this show (in 09), but both of those shows were infinitely better than the show this year. I thought their jams were boring, I thought they meandered to the point where it sounded like they were gonna take the song to the next level, only to end the jam right there.
I thought this, and several other people I camped with thought so as well. However, I let all the Phish fans enjoy it on the board, instead of busting into the Phish thread talking about how goddang boring the show was and how OH EVERYONE MUST AGREE WITH ME BECAUSE 20 PEOPLE THAT IM FRIENDS WITH AGREED WITH ME.
I'm sorry dude, but you act like a child sometimes. You act like you are half my age when you are like 10 years older than me. Are you really trying to get on some petty "my favorite band was better than your favorite band" bullhonkey?
Juggs is spot on when he says it, you seem bitter because you insisted that the material on this tour was gonna be disappointing. If you are not an actual Radiohead fan, just a person who has listened to them sometimes and saw their show in '06 without knowing any of their material, of course that show isn't gonna be crazy exciting for you. However for me, for my ENTIRE camp of about 40 people, and a lot of people I talked to after the show, were blown away by it. So why don't you stop parading around like because some people you talked to didn't really like the show that means that somehow the show was objectively bad.

But I still wasn't suggesting it was "bad for everyone" - "most" of my friends didn't find it great, not "everyone everywhere". And I obviously know people on here liked it.
I was just pointing out that not everyone thought the almighty Radiohead was a religious experience.
