Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Really, y'all? Pouting about not getting your fix of tawdry, inappropriate behavior? Don't you have cable TV for that? Srsly, this is pure schadenfreude.
Let the damn thread die! We can turn a blind eye, but our mods have to trudge thru every post of this slop. Enough already!

I don't have cable. My cable company got bought out and I am at war with the new company. (There's a chance that they don't know we're at war yet. But they will. Soon...)
What's not to like about this thread? We have an absent villain with sex-based Easter Eggs all around the internet. We have a "hero" who seems to get less likable each time he posts. We have discussions about the states of race and generosity and community at Bonnaroo and in society in general.
We haven't heard from Shonda, or someone who knows her well. Although I don't expect it, she may yet summon the nerve to engage us in polite and respectable conversation. Maybe she asked the moderators to lock the previous thread? I don't know. In which case the lock is justified. But, her side of the story, and the story has been about her, remains untold.

Why in the world would Shonda thread get locked? Because some admin thinks it's going nowhere positive?!? It spewed positivity and made everyone's day...every day. Release the beast!
First of all that thread was hilarious. It can't just drift into obscurity for three reasons.
1. it's hilarious (as I previously stated) 2. What if she comes back? 3. Deter future offenders
Can there be a inforoo wall of shame we could put her on or something?
What if she comes back with a new username next year but doesn't post anything obvious on the board? Starts talking to some new user and burns them. Then we got a car load of new roosters put off by this amazing place because of SHONDA. I think her crimes warrant some sort of public humiliation, no? Getting a ride there and a paid for ticket just to burn the ones who took you in?
Bonna-blasphemy if I've ever heard it
Wall of shame for shonda and if anyone's wants to set up a charity to get those burned by her some compensation I'm all for it but it should be someone who's been here for ages and that other users know. Can't get double shondaed in the same calendar year that's just bonkers

I'm not cool with humiliation as retaliation. She didn't try to humiliate the dude she scammed. He doesn't seem too embarrassed over it.
The general purpose was a) to see if he could get his money that he's owed and b) to warn others. After that I think that it became a good forum for discussion and entertainment on its own regardless of the original premise.
Anyways, the only thing that thread did regarding her was tell one side of the story and then reveal a lot more about her non-Inforoo life than anybody expected. But I don't think that that can be considered humiliating her. That is her lifestyle choice and if she's ashamed of it then it's up to her to deal with it.
I don't think that we need a figurative head on a pike to warn others, though.
