I'd definitely catch The Stones if they were at Bonnaroo. They maybe my favorite band of all time, but yet I have no desire to pay to see them in some arena at this point on their careers. This would be the perfect setting for me to mark one off my list of legends I've not seen live.
I'd certainly catch The Stones at 'Roo given the chance, but if they're only doin' a handful of shows I don't know that The Farm would be big enough. I have no doubt that AC/S would try and get 'em however.
The Rolling Stones have reportedly planned 2 shows at the Brooklyn Barclays Center before the end of the year. Also, it was reported that 2 shows are planned at the London O2 Arena. Hopefully these shows lead to some kind of legit tour. Fingers crossed
Checked Bonnaroo's facebook and they mentioned The Stones' new song. You think they're pulling a Moogfest again where they mention a band they're gonna include?
"Hell yea! New music from The Rolling Stones and both the video and song rock just like we want 'em to... ow.ly/eoRTj
The Rolling Stones would be amazing. I saw them once in the rain and it was memorable. Alice Cooper was also there....if Roo can get Alice, they can certainly try to get the Stones. i think its a good sign that Roo is talking about their new material.
Rolling Stones setlist from rehearsals for the upcoming tour. I would so be down for this
"She's So Cold" "You Got Me Rocking" "All Down the Line" "Respectable" "Tumbling Dice" "Honky Tonk Woman" "Beast of Burden" "Wild Horses" "Can't Always Get" "It's All Over Now" "Lady Jane" "Rt. 66" "Little Red Rooster" "Miss You" "Not Fade Away" "She's So Cold" "Start Me" "Sweet Va" "Worried About You" "Paint It Black" "The Last Time" "Ruby Tuesday" "Midnight Rambler"

The Rolling Stones cannot be compared to Alice Cooper in terms of draw. The Stones' upcomin' shows will be at stadiums/arenas I have no doubt. Again, I'm sure AC/S would love to book them, but I think it's extremely unlikely.
So, does Bonnaroo normally promote artists, even if they aren't playing or have never played there? I've never noticed.
Sometime immediately after the festival in 2011, they re-tweeted Weird Al Yankovic.
Obviously you can see how sad I was when he DID not appear on the lineup in 2012. Don't believe every re-tweet or promotion that Bonnaroo puts out on Facebook or Twitter. I am interpreting that share as just music lovers that are excited about a classic bands new song. We shouldn't look to much into it.
It is always the last Rolling Stones tour before their next tour I hear mick pays a lot of child support as long as there is baby momma there will be drama and a need for cash
