My internet decided to wait until the second it became my turn to suddenly cut out. And it came back on immediately after Autodraft kicked in and selected Jahvid Best. I'm convinced one of you guys hacked me.
After that, I was so mad, I just let Autodraft do the rest and went to meet my friends for Bar Trivia
Glad a lot of used waiver claims on Kickers, waivers spots are going to be pretty valuable in a league this deep later in the season and was a little worried being so low on the list.

I'm willing to bet most of the people that did this doin't understand how waivers work.
I didn't do this, but I don't understand how waivers work. I really need to read up on fantasy football.
It is basically when you pick up a Free Agent. You will usually have to drop a player from your team to pick up someone off waivers unless you have an open spot on your roster.
The order on the waiver wire is determined by record. With the team with the worst record first and the best record last. Except for this week in which the team that had the 1st pick in the draft is last and last pick is first. For example: You want to pick up Carson Palmer and you put in a claim on him, but someone else puts a claim on him as well and they have a worse record than you. The other team gets him.
There is a time period where the waiver order is in a effect each week (not sure which day it ends). Once the waiver period is over each week you are free to drop and add players at will on a first come first serve basis.
I probably made this sound more difficult than it actually is. It is real easy once you start playing

Nvm, just saw in the OP that you are. I def didn't expect Romo to show like that.
Eh, you kinda should have. Romo has played extremely well against the Giants in his last 4 games. He's averaging like 300 yards, 3 TD's and less than 1 INT (his exact stats are 1,300 or so yards, 12 TD's, 2 INT's).
Two observations from last night's game:
1 - Refs were bad, but aside from the one no-call on the goal line (where Cruz was being assaulted), there weren't that many BAD calls. Let's remember that the normal refs missed calls all the time, too.
2 - Those O-lines were horrific for the most part, DeMarco murray ran for 130 yards literally running over his own OL because they weren't blocking, but just getting in the way.
I think it's a little much to say Cruz was ”assaulted”, but never the less, they were saying at halftime that was an easy call to miss due to the giants having 5 wide outs on the field.
the biggest thing I noticed about the refs is how long it took them to figure out what penalty they were calling in a lot of situations.

I'm not a Giants fan, so I'm not making excuses for them, but Cruz was held with two hands out of his break, then Sensebaugh went around the back way before the ball got there. It was as blatant a defensive holding as you can find at the goal line. Missed call, but the only one that really stands out in my mind.
As far as how long it took to make the calls, I was actually very impressed. Compared to most of the crews I saw in preseason, these guys kept the game moving and it didn't turn into a 4-hour snoozefest with 394857389573457 commercial breaks.
I'm sure the Jets game will get the guys who took 7 minutes to call a 5-yard punt formation penalty against the Giants in preseason, though.
Going back to the waivers thing, I just realized there are no weekly waivers. Only drops go to waivers, making waiver positioning basically worthless. So basically if any high profile player goes down(Tom Brady for instance), it will be fasted fingers to add their back up(Ryan Mallet). Sucks for me as I have no smart phone and hardly ever in front of a computer during games.

Yeah, that is rather bush league, but I'm not sure it can be changed.
