Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Looking back, is there anything you wish you had differently? Any show you wish you had skipped or gone to?
For me, I regret standing in line for Punch Brothers instead of going and seeing Temper Trap. I enjoyed the Punch Brothers, but I think I could have enjoyed it just as much from farther away and the Temper Trap videos on youtube look like a great time.
I also wish I hadn't drank so much water on Saturday and could have held my spot for Superjam. Unfortunately, nature calls.
One other one, I wish I had stayed for White Denim and Phantogram instead of sitting through Yelawolf and Kendrick Lamar. My spot for the Alabama Shakes would have been a lot worse, but those two hours before would have been 100x better.

I really wish I could have made The Word's set. But alas, I was worn out and needed sleep to catch all the acts the next morning. Other than that, no huge regrets.

My only regret would be not heading over to Charles Bradley after realizing Darondo had canceled. Not that I regret catching Dawes' Sonic set, but I'm sure Charles and his Extraordinaires would have been a highlight of the weekend.
Going back to camp with my buddies after Radiohead and skipping Black Star. Also skipping GZA after the Superjam to get some rest. But then again, my mind couldn't really function properly after the amazingness that was the Soulquarians reunited.
At first I thought I was going to regret skipping Ben Folds Five and staying on the first rail for Bon Iver, but it turned out to be one of my top 5 sets.
I regret not walking over to Spectrum Road after seeing the crowd for Super Jam instead of walking back to Witch to wait on Skrillex. I also regret not going to any blue grass shows, my schedule was just too packed.

Going to bed after Radiohead for me as well. I did catch a bit of Black Star, and tiny bits of Major Lazer and The Word, but I wish I would have watched more from all three sets. Doesn't even count missing UM and FlyLo. That said, I was too tired to function, so it was probably for the best.
Also, wish I didn't have to miss Bad Brains, The Kooks, Needtobreathe, Two Door Cinema Club, and most of Flogging Molly in order to volunteer (although it's better than missing the nighttime stuff).

I regret missing some of Charles Bradley. I miss not being in the tent or upclose for several of the shows. I regret not getting contact info for the tons of random ppl I hung out with over the weekend, many who went to other fests. There are a few ppl from here I wish I could have met. Overall, I gave up much of what I regret to stay with friends so while I wish I could be in two places at the same time, I'm happy I got to spend time with friends.

I'm a little bummed that I wasn't able to make it past 2:30 on Saturday. I tried chewing on some paper to stay awake but that didn't work at all.
I raged pretty hard on Friday and only got a couple of hours of sleep so I was completely spent. But I have no regrets about Friday. I've never been an EDM fan but I had an almost religious experience watching the seamless hand off from Blackstar's set to Flying Lotus on That Tent..
Didn't get to make it into the pit for Radiohead... but I did get to see it with my sister, who was experiencing her first Radiohead show, and still had a fucking blast, but after last night being twenty feet from Thom Yorke, I could only imagine what it must have been like while at Bonnaroo.
No true regrets, because the only reason I missed any shows was because I chose boozing at the camp instead, but I wish I would have seen the following:
Danny Brown The Devil Makes Three Puscifer Childish Gambino Danzig Delta Spirit
I had the time of my life (first Roo). Thank you everyone! One of the best experiences of my life, especially the way I ended it on Sunday. It left me feeling perfect about everything and totally understanding Bonnaroo. The only slight regret I do have is not making more of an effort to get a good spot for Radiohead. I really couldn't see or hear very well at all, and they are one of my bucketlist bands. Next time though.
I regret going to Superjam instead of Alice Cooper, getting a really good spot only to leave after 2 songs - and heard how good it got after I left.
I also regret sitting in the Radiohead pit line for 5 hours instead of seeing other good shows, specifically Foster the People, which in turn caused us to be too tired to do late night Friday and we missed Umphrey's (the second consecutive festival that we have missed them - I have still never seem 'em)

I totally regret missing most of Foster the People. I was on the rail with my sister and decided to use my better judgement and gave up my spot and weaseled my way out of the What stage and ran over to Foster the People. Saw the last three songs. Ran back to camp met my husband and then we made it back to Radiohead found a good spot with room to breath and rocked out.
So I only regret not coming to my senses sooner.
Also. You should've tried to make it to UM. It was my favorite set of the weekend. I walked into the tent at 2am and got sucked in until it spit me out at 6am. So awesome.

Danny Brown was ultra fun, best hip hop act except maybe GZA imo. i didnt see GZA tho

I regret not watching the whole Alice Cooper show,. The Superjam was good, but it seems the last 30-45 minutes (i was there for an hour, however much was left after that) of Alice was better. I know the hour i was there certainly was.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

To be fair, you really only missed an hour and a half of music if you stopped at 2:30 on Saturday.

Leaving the campsite to see the end of radiohead. It made me want to sleep, and I lost steam going into the night which lead me to regret 2.... leaving The Word early to catch black star who showed up late. Caught a few songs and left from my earlier sleepy boredom of radiohead. My third and final regret, having a headache and having to leave the tent (but not the show) of Moon Taxi.
Fourth regret is that the guy who got shot in the leg jumped in front of the singer from foster the people at the worst possible time.
Nothin really too big comes to mind. Civil Wars and Punch Brothers were on my list, but I was enjoying other shows at the time. Devil Makes Three were awesome, but I had to leave early for Charles Bradley who was just as awesome. Wish I had the energy for more than just 2 hours of Umphrey's. Seems like I've seen them 4-5 times at Bonnaroo but never make it through the whole set. But I don't regret any of the shows I did see (maybe Kendrick Lamar, who despite what he says, is not the greatest rapper of all time)
