Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo in 2013!!
This was my second Roo and I definitely saw more bands than my first one. I want to see how I did compared to you. I counted 23 bands that I saw at least 15 minutes of.
Wow, I feel ashamed now. I didn't do too much hopping around except for Friday late night. Maybe next year I should do more half sets, but the best stuff is always at the end of the set.

Dpw, you are a machine! I saw 23 and that was much more than years past when it was hot. We still missed a fair amount of shows because we didn't want to have to keep walking back from centeroo or spend all day there either. Or Sunday we missed Black Lips, Ben Folds, and Grouplove just to go drink some moonshine with friends. Always compromises when you're with your SO.

I saw 20, the least Ive ever done. I think I did 30 my first year and about 24 last year. The 20 shows I saw this weekend were incredible though so I dont mind one bit
22 full sets, 32 bands. My own personal record. Last year would have been, but I got sick on Sunday and only saw two shows.

20 full shows.
It's less than I usually see but I was a little pickier this year and the shows I chose were definitely the right ones. I also did not stay for any late night shows, other than Alice Cooper because we day parked and I was not the one driving.......
Cave Singers Orgone Moon Taxi Kendrick Lamar Alabama Shakes (but I missed the parade damn it!)
Soul Rebels Infamous Stringdusters Sharon Jones & Dap Kings Sam Bush Avett Brothers * Trampled By Turtles Ludacris * Rodrigo y Gabriela! The Word Blackstar* Umphrey's McGee * (2 hours but still partial)
Devil Makes Three * Charles Bradley! Marc Maron/Judah Friedlander/Amu Schumer Trampled by Turtles * Oberhofer * Santigold * Gary Clark Jr THE ROOTS! RHCP * Superjam GZA
Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds (best discovery of the weekend) Gary Clark Jr.! Beach Boys! Ben Folds Five* Bon Iver Phish
*partial set ! What Stage pit
I count 33 shows, most of them full sets with maybe a song or 2 missed. Would have seen more on Sunday, but my body was telling me to shut it down. Best Bonnaroo ever! Counting down the days until next year

I managed 30. I was pacing myself, but I could have done 40 if I stuck to my schedule. I took advantage of the weather, especially on Sunday and got my butt out to centeroo early.

Keep in mind I was also volunteering, so I missed a few of the earlier acts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday:
Danny Brown/ Yelawolf/ Moon Taxi/ SOJA~ Kendrick Lamar Alabama Shakes Big Gigantic/ The Avett Brothers~+ Rodrigo y Gabriela and C.U.B.A.* Radiohead*+ Valient Thorr Black Star The Temper Trap~ Flogging Molly+ Puscifer SBTRKT~ Childish Gambino~+ Danzig Legacy/ The Roots~+ Dispatch/ Red Hot Chili Peppers*+ (left during Ethiopia but close enough) Alice Cooper+ Superjam/ Skrillex* Unchained~ The Black Lips~ Grouplove~ City and Colour~ Mac Miller The Beach Boys/ The Joy Formidable Kenny Rogers~ Ben Folds Five Bon Iver~ The Shins~ Young the Giant/ The Civil Wars~ fun.~ Phish*
* = saw full set / = saw half their set or more ~ = saw at least 15 minutes of their set + = saw them before Roo
If you couldn't tell, I like to hop around a lot. But that way I see more bands, so I like it. There were also a few others I only walked by (Major Lazer), or only heard them but not saw them (GZA). Other than the headliners, the ones I saw before Roo weren't as big of a priority, otherwise I may have stayed for more.
Upcoming shows:
4/18 - Zeds Dead
4/27 - STS9
4/30 - Suicidal Tendencies
5/1 - The Black Crowes
5/2 - A Day to Remember
5/3 - Smashing Pumpkins
5/8 - Phoenix
5/10 - Borgore
5/11 - Clutch
5/16-19 - Hangout Music and Arts Festival
5/25 - Sunset Music Festival
5/26 - Yngwie Malmsteen
6/3 - Killswitch Engage
6/7 - Fleetwood Mac
6/13-16 - BONNAROO
I saw 32 acts total. Parts of: Soja, Phantogram, Alabama Shakes, Big Gigantic (by mistake...), Tune-yards, the Infamous Stringdusters, Ben Howard, Afrocubism, Feist, Umphrey's Mcgee, GZA, The Black Lips, The Beach Boys, Ben Folds Five, The Shins, Phish.
Entire sets: Cave Singers, Orgone (THEY RULED!!!), Moon Taxi, The Kooks, Avett Brothers, Rod y Gab, Radiohead, Black Star, Temper Trap, Santigold, The Roots, RHCP, Superjam, Gary Clark Jr., Bon Iver.
Yeah, it was a pretty good weekend. My second year in a row seeing 32 bands oddly enough.

Only 17 shows. I volunteered all day Thursday (got off just in time for the Alabama Shakes!), and I generally like to wait in the pit lines/get to shows early for good spots. But I'm extremely happy with my personal lineup this year! An asterisk means I was in the pit or waited around for an hour+.
Full Sets: Alabama Shakes Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings The Avett Brothers* Rodrigo y Gabriela Black Star* The Roots Red Hot Chili Peppers The SuperJam Gary Clark, Jr. * Ben Folds Five*

I saw 32 shows but most of them were partial. I think the only full sets I saw were Radiohead and Superjam. But, I saw most of a lot of sets but a lot of times I had to leave 10 minutes early for the next act.
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.
