I really don't understand why the ticket prices of a fest you wouldn't attend anyway bother you this much.
Pitchfork getting Bjork is a big strike against me attending Roo. I went from definitely going to wait and see the rest of the lineup. If the Macca speculation turns out to be wrong I don't think I'm going to be able to justify the added expense Bonnaroo will be for me vs. P4k.

Can you guys help settle an argument? If Simon and Garfunkel did another Old Friends Tour, where would they rank on the lineup? I say 4 a buddy says 5-7

I just can't believe how inflated those prices are, and the terribly snobbish "this fest will be better than other fests cause it's not in a field and we're CIVIL". It just leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. Coachella's lineups always are worth their higher than average price, this lineup on the other hand? You've got to be kidding me.
Why does anyone care about anything? Why do we discuss lineups for festivals we don't go to? I'm allowed to be astonished by things that are ridiculous.

If Macca is at Hangout and not Roo, I may consider blowing Roo off for Hangout. I can't do both this year.
Re: Bottle Rock, there is a "secret" promo code on the info page that will save you another 50 it seems (although it could just be the same 50?)
I would like to go to that festival. There is good music, and bands on every lineup that I wouldn't go to. I could get up real close for Primus while everyone else is at something like Train or whatever. And Napa is fuggin gorgeous.

Its just ridiculous to have Furthur headling a festival that says its correcting whats wrong with the incivility of music festivals
$1,000? Does that include ticket as well as travel? Or is travel alone $1,000?
As a starting point, tickets + flight to Roo will cost me almost $400 more than tickets + flight to Pfk.
Yea, I know travel to Roo is expensive. I'm assuming the ticket is more than pitchfork as well but not sure.
I just wanted to see if CKS's price was for a ticket AND travel. If it was just travel I would have been surprised.
I think I end up spending around that much. I think my flights last year came to a total of $400-500. So that, plus the ticket, and if I didn't have someone pick me up I'd definitely be in that price range. I'm planning on renting a car this year if I go so that'll be more than I paid last year.
