SURPRISE RELEVANT POST ALERT: Black Sabbath has an album coming out this summer and will tour leading up to its release... I know it's actually 3/4 of Black Sabbath with a pinch of Rage Against The Machine but I think they can at least be considered a possibility
They would be #1 on my wishlist I have always wanted to see Sabbath live.
1/30: Jack White and Run The Jewels 3/22: Bjork 4/6: Mumford & Sons 4/10: Sufjan Stevens 4/15: Neutral Milk Hotel 6/5-7: Gentlemen of the Road 6/11-14: Bonnaroo 8/29: RL Grime/Chance the Rapper 9/26-27: Landmark Music Festival 10/5: Tame Impala 10/22: Chance the Rapper
Personally, I think they should go for 2/3 of those. Preferably Macca/Prince. Cheap jam closer that not many care about anyways and boom, were inside the budget from many years.
However, the stones/Macca polarization that went on at the time and getting them to both play the same fest the same year, that's the stuff of legendary festival status.
Has there ever been a major festival to have both at the same time? For that matter, have the stones and anyone from the Beatles played a festival or concert together? (Excluding charity or super limited engagements with 2-3 song sets)

I think Prince would be billed above Macca.
I also think if Bonnaroo booked them both that the Sunday headliner would be a "cheaper" band that probably played before. Dave Matthews Band would work but they were once billed #1 so I wouldn't think they'd be billed #3.
I'm thinking about My Morning Jacket. They could do it, they are not expensive (for Bonnaroo) and they could easily do a one off as a favor to Bonnaroo.
