Its been done by lots of bands. Normally classic rock bands doing the ol casino tour and using the same bass and drummer to cut costs. Its not ideal for matt, but a 75 min soundgarden set, a 30-45 min break, then a 2 hour PJ set isnt that big of a stretch. Obviously back to back 2 hour+ sets would be ridiculous.
2/2/17 - Louis CK - New Orleans - Mahalia Jackson 4/3/17 - Radiohead - New Orleans - Arena 4/19/17 - Bob Weir - Mobile - Saenger 4/21/17 - Umphreys - New Orleans - Civic 5/6/17 - Sturgill - Orange Beach - The Wharf 5/27-29/17 - Movement - Detroit 7/9/17 - Metallica - Atlanta - SunTrust Park 8/4-6/17 - Phish - NYC - MSG 10/27-29/17 - Voodoo - New Orleans
I know I am in the minority, but I would much rather see Pearl Jam than Macca.
Yeah I know....I am 1 out of 10 on here that would prefer Pearl Jam to Macca (if that.)
Pearl Jam is in my top 5 bands/artist of all time, and I have never seen them live. I am pretty neutral to Paul Mccartney, if he played I would go and catch most of the set...but I wouldn't try to get in the pit or anything.
Pearl Jam – Dave Matthews band – Mumford and Sons – Fleetwood Mac – Soundgarden
Im thinking about Jack White, and if this was the lineup and he was added to it, I honestly dont know if he would be 3,4,or 5. I just looked at the 2012 Outside lands poster, and not surprising hes after Metallica, Stevie, and Neil.. But ahead of Foo Fighters?? Thats crazy. He had a great year, as did Mumford, and Fleetwood IS Fleetwood. Hmm
I wasn't saying that was a bad lineup, at all, just that we most likely won't have a HUGE name this year like everyone's hoping for. I would be pleased with those artists, personally. I laud that lineup guess for being realistic.
Pearl Jam And Soundgarden are about to announce a joint tour for next year. Makes sense since they're sharing the same drummer. So as it is the lineup will be Pearl Jam – Dave Matthews band – Mumford and Sons – Fleetwood Mac – Soundgarden
It seems too rock oriented. i don't know about this. Plus I'm still just really hoping for Macca and/or Watch the Throne

one of the greatest concerts Ive ever seen on video. My brother was there and till this day Im jealous, 45 song 3 and half hour set to close the Wachovia Spectrum forever. It was also halloween so they came out dressed as devo at one point and played Whip It. Just an awesome concert
