Sorry for offending deadmau5 fans...I just seen to see a lot of hate on him and the record is kinda eh. I know MIAs last record bombed commercially but I was just thinking of another name artist in that genre. What genre would we consider her, if not EDM? Almost all of her music leans electronic, granted she worked with Diplo and Switch on a lot of it I see why.

Yeah I feel like bassnectar would work better on Which than Pretty Lights. I loved PL in a tent, and I would love that to happen again.
I think Bonnaroo put an bigger EDM artist on the Which because they were not sure about their headliners and their drawing power. Having Skrillex play on a stage at LN made the choice easier for a lot of EDM fans.
Do we really think they'll put another EDM on the Which stage? I think not.
"Speaking of recent records that have flopped, what about MIA?"
The album debuted at number two on the Canadian Albums Chart with first-week sales of 13,000 copies. Selling 58,000 copies in the United States in its first week, > album title goes here < debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 and at number one on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart, becoming deadmau5's first number-one album on the latter chart. It entered the UK Albums Chart at number nine on sales of 14,325 units, his highest-charting album in the United Kingdom to date.
Dude, this is an electronic album appearing at the top of charts...and not just electronic charts either. He is THE name in EDM, I hate to tell you.
Also, MIA is not an EDM artist. Nonetheless, she hasn't released an album since 2010, so even if she was, I'm not sure how she would be a bigger "EDM" artist than deadmau5. What in the world?!
EDIT: I'm...just...confused about everything you said. Ugh.
Deadmau5 is billed #3 for Lolla in Chile behind Pearl Jam and The Black Keys. Queens of the Stone Age is billed #4. Just for some perspective on Deadmau5's status as a headliner. This would suggest that YES, he is!
