i'm $8.02 short in my checking account because i was counting on getting 1st tier. i went ahead an ordered 2nd tier anyway and i got the "your order is complete, this is your receipt" page. I'm a n00b with checking/visa cards, is it ok that i went over? and is my order definitely in? i havent gotten an email confirmation yet.

Anybody notice you can't access any part of the Bonnaroo website now? It says check back shortly to access the full website. Maybe an announcement later today?
was just gonna ask about this. never been before so i didnt know if it was a normal occurance, but i found it strange. atleast its not that retarded guy who obviously has a hangover!
to the guy above, you should fine $10 in change or whatever you can and get it into your account asap, otherwise you might get charged more for not having the money

I think what is happening is that if not purchased, shopping carts expire after a few minutes and the tickets are released. A tier 2 just popped up after I hit refresh a few times...
Thank you for ordering tickets for Bonnaroo 2008! You will be receiving an email very shortly with your order and event details. Please email bonnarootix@musictoday.com if you have not received your email confirmation 24 hours after placing your order. So, you're okay for 24 hours if you don't have the email yet!
Sigh... first year I haven't gotten Tier One even though I was refreshing from 11:45 on. My pride's a bit hurt but I'm happy to have my ticket, especially with Tier Two being sold out now. I'm glad I didn't refresh on Tier One too long. (I was hoping that a declined credit card would pop something back in into the bargain bin. I guess I shouldn't be rewarded for that kind of selfishness.)

VIP tickets bought. They are slow with the email verification. You can check your account to make sure everything went through. Those pre bonnroo t shirt are sweet too. ;D See you in June!
I didn't see the option for the T-shirts, was that included in the VIP package or did I screw up and miss them?

I've overdrawn by about 7 dollars before. But it all depends on your bank. The order should have definitely gone through, but depending on your plan, you might get charged something for going over. Last time I went over I went to the bank as soon as i could and put some money in. You should be fine, i think!!

I would get some more funds in your account ASAP. It'll probably take a couple of days for the transaction to clear the account, and you'll be all set for getting tickets...
But you'll be violated with fees from your bank account for over drawing.... and from a credit standpoint, its good to not have that stuff.

I got tier one. This will be my first bonnaroo. My GF's grandmother has a huge house 10 minutes away from the camp grounds, but I'm still thinking about camping...

Finally got my credit card working. Bank of America owes me a tier one ticket! Oh well, tier two is just as good because it means bonnaroooooo in a few months!
I checked my order history and it says "Payment approved". It also says that last year my order was processed at 11:57, 3 minutes before tickets went on sale.

I screwed up and bought t shirts. For VIP you will get an email asking what sizes you want. (I doubt they will be any different, so now Dan and I will have two....)

I work in financial audit, generally if it's a debit or what's called an ACH "Automated clearing house" payment, your bank will honor it, but you will be charged overdraft charges by your bank if you arent able to deposit the difference. Keep in mind, most banks are closed Monday due to President's Day, so the clearing house transaction wont process til the Federal Reserve is open again Monday at midnight. If you can deposit funds into your account Tuesday before your bank's cutoff, you may escape an overdraft charge. Do you have the ability to transfer money into your checking account online??
To the other person asking about the Bonnaroo site, Im thinking access was shut down to ease the strain on the servers while people are buying tickets with today being the first day.
Very happy the site was working well and got my 2 tickets!
But from a Rooster standpoint, it's better to have the tickets. Besides, what the overdraft fee is will probably be comparable to the increase from waiting til Tier 3.
The first time I went though I got the unavailable message for both teir 1 and 2. Just as I was about to purchase tier 3, I made a mistake and went back a page and it told me I needed to start over. On my second run the tier 2 were available. Thank god for mistakes
I work at a bank and standard policy for us for debit cards is to charge a $35 overdraft charge if the debit card is used when funds are not in the account. While an ACH hold is placed on the purchase, the system recognizes the fact that you used your card when the money was not available to you. Your purchase should be honored but you will most likely incur an overdraft fee. Hopefully you have not had too many overdrafts in the past or the bank could opt to charge off your account and not pay for the debit.
I checked my order history and it says "Payment approved". It also says that last year my order was processed at 11:57, 3 minutes before tickets went on sale.
last year the tickets went on sale at 11:50. a little early bird treat i guess.

You are 100% correct- hopefully his history is ok in his account so the transaction isnt revoked, good to see another person who works with money around these places

My order history said payment approved and I printed out the screen they recommended. I also rec'd and printed out the email.
I went back to the ticket website and when I tried to log-in again to check something in my order history, it wouldn't accept my log-in information. I tried the 'lost password' thing and it said that my email address wasn't found. ???

My condolences to those who got screwed in the Tier 1 rush. To me, the sheer speed at which they disappeared this year as opposed to years past seems fishy to me.

anyone else experience this?
That's very strange. I just logged out and switched browsers to see if that was the case for me but I logged in with no problem and my order history is there. As long as you have the emails you should be ok.
