Lets play along and say Macca will be there. Is there money left to get decent headliners for the other 2 spots? I'm still thinking Mumford will be one of the other spots.

If the Hangout is reaching profitability or profitable with a chance at higher margins, Zislin will be more willing to spend more.
FWIW, I still don't see Mumford as a possibility. This makes things interesting on Petty though. TBH, this just puts it up in the air for me, especially since I haven't talked to my buddy in awhile.

Mumford would be a cheap headliner, so would the Black Keys. You've got to figure DMB and RHCP cost quite a bit last year, so pairing McCartney with a couple of cheaper options would be somewhat comparable. I'm finding myself agreeing more and more with the Mumford skeptics, though. There's no real evidence or solid rumors that they'll be hitting the US festival circuit hard, just a general feeling that they are positioned for headlining slots if they want them.

Black Keys are at Jazzfest and therefore probably not coming (proximity clauses). Mumford isn't as cheap as you think this year because of rising popularity and demand from festivals. That is what is making this so hard to come up with a list based on past results. That might not be a smart thing since we don't actually know the financials and willingness of Shaul to back up this year's billing.

Oh yeah, I forgot Black Keys were at Jazz Fest.
I know this discussion came up earlier, but what's your basis for saying Mumford is pricey? They are a newly minted headliner, which means they should be making much less than legacy acts like Petty or major jam draws like WSP. I'd guess their price is roughly the same as Jack White.

As for the other headliners, with Macca being there, count Bob Dylan out I have no idea on the rock band, could it be Muse? We have knocked off so many possible bands as headliners, but Muse remains up in the air.
Moe. is a possibility for the jam band, not really a huge fan of moe. I'd MUCH rather see some Phish (if you cant tell by my name) but they're bro-ey enough to get some of the DMB'ers back. Other than that, I mean, Panic is out, they won't have any more cheese just yet with Mule playing Wanee, that kind of puts them off...I don't know, can't wait for this lineup
