^While I don't think Panic is headlining, they have done random one day festival appearances that don't really fit into summer or spring tour. When they played Hangout last time it was listed as "May Dates" on Panic's website instead of Spring or Summer tour. My other theory is that the reason they worded the lineup announcement on the 6th as "artist additions" and mentions nothing about a headliner, is bc they are only going to announce all the other non headlining acts then after WSP's Oak Mountain tickets go on sale on 3/22 they will announce Panic is headlining.
....close to accurate. They did a 4 show run bookended by HO and Scamp.
I would love for them to be there, but it just seems unlikely given their sched and jazz fest.........phish?....again, where's the logic? Trey is on a simultaneous tour?
Two possibilities....they've scrambled for someone or someone we don't know about is releasing a tour and/or an album next week.

Prince was just on Fallon last night. I am holding out hope that they lured him in.
WSP would be a great add, the show in '11 was great, one of the best Jimmy Surprise Valley's I've heard. The Warren sit in was epcot as well.
Don't know if it was mentioned in here but Tom Hetty and Crowes are on Saturday of the fest, and KOL is Friday.
If they could pull out Prince or Furthur to close the fest out I would seriously freak out. A Dead show on the beach would be a beautiful thing. So many n00bs would bail before they played too.

The above review article of Prince on the Jimmy Fallon show mentions he begins a tour starting on the west coast in Mid-April. Yet no dates have been announced so perhaps he will be announcing those and a spot at Hangout this week
I'm torn between hoping for Atoms for Peace or Prince. Prince would sell out the festival and complement the lineup perfectly. Certainly that's not too much for Hangout to pull with Paul McCartney money.

I would be elated if they landed Stevie. That is really best case scenario and he'll be moved up to the first name on the poster too. Going from thinking it was going to be Mumford to thinking Stevie Wonder is such a huge bump. If you've never seen him, you're going to love it. He is lively and funny.
And I love Pwince, as in he's at the top of my music bucket list, but what a cheesepiece.

Funny how basically anonymous people never reveal their sources eh?
Ah, another post like this.
Listen guy, when you name your f'n sources on a public forum that has been watched nonstop by FB derps since the Great Fakeposter Trolling of 2013, you are going to be ensuring that this source gets told nothing next year since they are known to higher ups as someone that spills the beans.
I know the sources Wronginus is referring to and I believe 100% that it will be Stevie Wonder if they are saying it.

Eclipse during an eclipse? I never double checked, did that really happen?
Lips are one of my favs and that was one of their best shows I have seen out of the 10 or so I have been to. Think maybe being with 12+ of my closest friends may have helped.
Also in related news, confetti and dancers will be a thing of the past this year.
