I think an argument can be made that Paul Simon is an equivalent get as Bruce Springsteen.
Maybe Im wrong, and correct me if I am, but I don't see Paul Simon doing extensive touring and haven't in a while. And I haven't seen him on many fest lineups. (like I said, maybe Im out of touch with this)
I would like to see either equally, and I figure I will have more chances to see The Boss than Paul Simon.
Makes sense. I just haven't seen Paul Simon on the bill for any other festivals, and if he plays little amphitheaters I'd assume he isn't all that expensive and should be at a lot more. I wonder what the reason is that he doesn't play many?

I would kill to see Ghostland this year. Ill be optimistic with the Stones. Can't wait bought the condo 2 days after this years. Also think they need to get new shirt companies .... That's my only recommendation and they are probably on top of that just like everything else . Just got back from ACL and had a great time but makes me appreciate Hangout that much more . Sadly But not I found my self mostly seeing handouts bands just trying to relive the best times. Gary Clark , black keys, big gigantic was awesome, jack white and the list goes on

while I think radiohead next year would be unreasonable, atoms for peace just announced their album will come out January 28th. while unlikely, they also said they were touring behind the album, and will undoubtedly hit some festivals. that would make my reasonable dream lineup.

They've always done $50 tickets on black friday. However, last year it was some kind of random thing where you not only had to drive to gulf shores, but answer some trivia questions and then some people were selected to buy the tickets based on their trivia answers. Or at least that was how it was explained to me. I couldn't make it out there last year.
5/25: Dillinger Escape Plan
5/30: Andrew W.K. w/ Tony Clifton
6/1: Big Boi w/ Killer Mike
6/13-16: BONNAROO
6/29: Bob Dylan, Wilco, MMJ
6/30: The Grandmothers of Invention
7/11: Seinfeld
7/20: Living Colour
8/1: Mastodon w/ Machine Head
8/7: Melvins
9/5: Iron Maiden w/ Megadeth
10/2: The Legendery Pink Dots
11/1-3: VOODOO
11/14-17: BEAR CREEK

I'm still confused. The cheap ticket opportunity normally takes place on black friday. Thanksgiving and black friday are paid holidays at my work. I won't be out of town this year, so Imma attempt to get them cheap ones. Who cares about postjack. He has money to gamble on a Roo ticket with Phi, so I know he don't need no damn charity.

I think they limited it to 4 last year, but like I said earlier, not everyone got the chance to actually buy them, so it is possible that you could leave disappointed. Or maybe it was 2 tickets a person.

Haha, sorry for the vague post from my cell phone.
Basically I meant I work and have money to spring for a $200 ticket. I would prefer not to spend a day answering trivia questions and jumping through hoops to get a discount on said ticket.
Also, as CKS pointed out, I can't take off said day, since I have to work on black Friday.
Definitely was not trying to sound snobby, was trying to be funny and pithy.
