How is a website dedicated to re-selling tickets, selling tickets for half of the price? am i the only one confused on that?
It's individuals selling their tickets, not the site. Stubhub makes its money off the fees they charge you.
Banshee, I don't know what mixed things you could've possibly heard. Stubhub guarantees your ticket. They are a huge and reliable business. I know you're nervous, but you have no reason to be. Make the decision and then you won't have to worry anymore.

Oh I made the decision. I'm ordering off StubHub later today. The mixed things I've heard were some people saying StubHub is fine because it's partner with roo and others saying just spend the extra money for the peace of mind (if stubhub is fine why would I need peace of mind?)
But I'm ordering 2 from stubhub today. Hoping all goes well and I get them soon and blah blah. Thanks dudes.

Just another voice chiming in to vouch that Stubhub is pretty damn safe for cases like this. Stubhub guarantees the tickets, which just means you'll get your money back if they can't get you in. Not a whole lot of help if it's a show you're devastated to miss, or if you drove a long way, etc - BUT for Bonnaroo, since you can register the wristbands beforehand, it's awesome. If you're able to register them, you're fine and don't have to worry about the ticket anymore. If anything goes wrong with the registering process, you've got time to contact Stubhub and, if necessary, get a refund and buy more tickets.
This just in from Roo's Facebook. Based solely off of that it doesn't necessarily sound like it's mandatory to register, just highly encouraged. Again, that's based solely off this statement and I know the info that comes with your ticket says otherwise:
Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival Did you get your wristband? Once it arrives, you'll want to love & protect it by registering on bonnaroo.com/
Added bonus when you register: - Entry to win a 2013 Ford Escape (Chances are doubled when you connect to Facebook) - Possible VIP upgrades - Free music & setlists from Bonnaroo bands - New social media check-in features
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

This may answer some questions, the email address was working and I got these responses. I bought one ticket from the regular ticket site, and another ticket second hand from a craigslist ad, I was asking how to register properly, and how imperative it is to register...... Hi,
It is not essential to register but it is highly recommended. If you loose your bracelet or if there is any problem with it, it will be easier for the staff to find your bracelet or solve the problem if you are registered. You don't need to subscribe with Facebook or Youtube if you don't want to. Also, the registration has to be done under the name of the person attending Bonnaroo. Hi,
Sorry if it was not clear. The registration has to be done under the name of the attendee. So, if you have a friend attending, wristband registration has to be done under your friend's name. When you'll know who is going to Bonnaroo with the second wristband, send us an email with the following information so we can make the change:
-The name and phone number used for the transaction -The name of the person that is not going any more -The name and e-mail of the person attending -(the changes that need to be done)
We hope this response has sufficiently answered your questions. If not, please do not send another email. Instead, reply to this email.

^^ Yup, thats just the lowest on stubhub right now for a pair of passes, someone is willing to take just 220 for their pair... I guess you have to give them the # to verify before you post them up, if they have a guarantee. Pretty cool actually. Doing this next year.
Did you get a e-mail confirmation when registering your wristband?
I did it so quick I am now questing if all went ok. I have not received a confirmation.
I may just try it again and if it is already registered i guess it will say that.
I did the same thing, so if you register and dont subscribe to the YouTube channel then your not registered? Anybody got an answer?
Alright, here is the official answer. I tried registering our other wristband today for my gf. What I didn't notice the first time when I did my own band was after the first page, it says "congratulations you are now registered".
The FB and Youtube pages are just extra options.
To double check, I tried registering mine again, and it said it was already registered.
