I know this is in regards to this year, but the biggest gap-filling success ever for me was Grace Potter in 06. It was a Friday noon show, and my first year so I was looking to take advantage of every time slot I could. I've seen them a good 25 times since.

I'm really looking forward to the Soul Rebels. I got to go see Metallica for 2 shows at the Filmore in December and they had the Soul Rebels there playing Metallica songs (it was their 30th Anniversary Party). I liked them so much I started listening to their own stuff. Should be a good show.
But my biggest surprise this year is Gary Clark Jr. looked him up on youtube while doing my schedule and can't wait to see him.
Music fuels us as we continue to conquer the battlefields of boredom and artistic freedom.
