I'm having the exact same Mogwai/Roots conflict! What! I suppose I could run from Mogwai's set and catch the last half hour or so of Roots, but I'd be a mile from the stage.
I still can't believe that the Van Halen thing isn't a joke. I work with one of the biggest piece of Jersey trash in existence, rocks out to VH on a regular basis, and even HE hates these guys.
He's like you made an über troll by taking the worst parts of me (the utter disregard for other people's opinions), Phi (cluttering up threads with memes and adding nothing to a discussion) and Jess (an apparent belief that everyone else is the problem and/or arrogance without self awareness).
I'm actually happy the Roots conflict, because I don't want that show to be overrun.
Me too. I mean, I'm bummed that they conflict with some stuff I'd actually like to see, but it happens. I was worried they were going to get the semi-unopposed Which Stage show pre-headliner and just be slammed.

Quite a few conflicts for me.
Alabama Shakes vs. Big Gigantic - I'm going to the shakes, but it will suck to miss BG.
Battles vs. Flogging Molly is pretty rough. Can't decide on that one. They're both in my top 10 priorities.
I hate that Charles Bradley/Darondo/Pelican are all at the same time, as I really wanted to see all three
Ben Folds/Beach Boys/Bon Iver is tough as well....Ben Folds Five is the priority, but hopefully we can catch a bit of the Beach Boys and the end of Bon Iver as well.
I also think that the Saturday night shows are abysmal.
I love the GZA and Sharon Jones adds, and love the lineup, but hate the conflicts. I think the schedule could be much better.
For me it's Ben Folds Five>Bon Iver>Civil Wars>Shins.
I want to see Bon Iver's whole set so I probably won't see Ben Folds Five play most of what I want to hear, but I gotta see Bon Iver. I'll probably run from Civil Wars to the Shins because it's not really "the Shins" anymore, and I don't really know how I feel about that.

Quack Sunday and Ben Folds Five/Bon Iver/Civil Wars. I love Ben Folds Five, but I just might stay at What stage to try to get pit for Bon Iver, then leave BI to catch the rest of the Civil Wars.
I still can't believe that the Van Halen thing isn't a joke. I work with one of the biggest piece of Jersey trash in existence, rocks out to VH on a regular basis, and even HE hates these guys.
Even Van Halen fans hate them?! Who approved this? I need to know.
This one blows, as well. Three top-notch late-nite picks. Could be so easily solved with a little earlier start from FlyLo and Dumpsta during that weird, little half-hour break where no one is playing. What the Quackk are we gonna do, play a few hands of cards, then split ourselves in three. Someone's gotta be adding on the Which. Finish with Umph till sunup.

Roots on What will not be overrun. It will be a mind-blowing set. But Mogwai and Danzig doing Misfits/Samhain are rare sights for me. I hate to pass on Roots set, especially this one, but I may have to miss it.
- Darondo vs. Charles Bradley. Who thought of this?! - Rod y Gab vs. St. Vincent vs. Dawes - Gambino vs. Red Baraat vs. Mogwai vs. Roots. I guess this speaks to how eclectic my taste is because they're all vastly different, but I think I'll have to choose 2 of the 4, or risk seeing very little of each. And how random is the Gambino placement on the otherwise acoustic heavy Which stage that day? - Spectrum Rd vs. Superjam vs. ArtvsScience
I went and bought me an outfit today that costed a lot of money today, youknowImean?, 'cause I figured that Wu-Tang was gonna win! I don't know how y'all see it, but when it comes to the children, Wu-Tang is for the children! We teach the children! You know what I mean? Puffy is good, but Wu-Tang is the best! Okay? I want you all to know that this is ODB, and I love you all, peace!"
