I'm sure they're a fine and entertaining act. I have no doubt that's why they were booked for the festival (and why they were booked for the Great GoogaMooga). But, there's ZERO way this band is playing a 2-hour slot in one of the major tents. Those tents are designed to hold upwards of 30K - no f*cking way do they put a band in there that will draw maybe a thousand people. If they did, the other stages would be overflowed beyond belief.
Yeah, see the only thing is, they ARE currently scheduled to play just that. I wouldn't be surprised if they got moved, but I can at least feel the pain of those who are at least a little bit upset/concerned. I will be at GZA so I have no particular issue with this, but it does suck that if you happen to not like hip hop, your other choices are the Pedro Martinez band and some quacking Van Halen Tribute.

with the way we've seen acts added and removed, misspelled, etc, this could just be another sloppy mistake these people have made on their website over the last few weeks/months. however, it is kinda hard to imagine someone being derp enough to accidentally put a van halen tribute band in one of the late night slots
Radiohead, prince, muse, chili peppers, etc...and they are lucky if they get 1 mill, but they normally only get 500 k
then you have third tier : snoop, dre, J z...they get 100 k
then you have 4th tier : black keys, munford byoncee, Prince etcc: they get 50k
It's not even the fact that I'm pissed they get a LN and SBTRKT don't, it's the fact that they're essentially deleting a tent from Saturday LN which will overcrowd the other ones. Friday will already be crowded with no LN Which.

I would've thought they'd at least respond on twitter, but I don't see anything yet. I don't believe I ever see them post on facebook. I'm on AC's street team, maybe the person that runs it has some insight.

Hopefully their set at the great Googa this weekend will solve some mysteries. Fitz, Charles Bradley, The Roots and Pedrito are all on both schedules, but none of them seem likely to be special guest for a VH cover band

Are there any bands at Roo this year that have tribute band side projects? I remember "back in the day" one of the dudes from Clap Your Hands Say Yeah being in a GnR cover band. Anything like that going on here? Any dude's from Umphrey's flexible enough for a legkick?
even the band's schedule says that they will be in New Jersey on saturday night....
and.... in the schedule anouncement banner on the site they are listed as cafe artists... wtfffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
2 hour show in jersey -> fly to nashville -> book it to manchester. It's possible...Cudi played in NY the night before he played roo, so I wouldn't doubt a poor ### band would shove it in their schedule for a nice paycheck.
