I'm not getting my hopes up. It will only be disappointing when the lineup doesn't come.
What if today was the announcement for the lineup to come out Friday for an on-sale next Monday? I just want everyone out there in the interwebs to stop pretending that they are "in the know" when they are clearly not! But if it comes today, I will be very happy
But some people actually are "in the know." You just have to have a good BS detector so that you can tell who's full of sh*t and who isn't. It wasn't just suprefan that I was referring to with the chatter. There seems to be a consensus forming that today is the day, or maybe tomorrow.
Like I said, I'd be surprised to see them drop it with ZERO prior warning, but I'm certainly hopeful.

Coming back to this, I feel like Supre is the Coachella boards version of BonnarooDetective - that annoying, know-it-all type who likes people thinking he's "in the know," so he'll make a bunch of very vague predictions then come back later and be all "see, I knew that - remember when I said 'a big English act will make a rare U.S. appearance?' Now Blur is playing so I was right" kind of statement.
Radiohead, prince, muse, chili peppers, etc...and they are lucky if they get 1 mill, but they normally only get 500 k
then you have third tier : snoop, dre, J z...they get 100 k
then you have 4th tier : black keys, munford byoncee, Prince etcc: they get 50k

Also, Pearl Jam just made an announcement on their Facebook/Twitter, telling people to "stay tuned." For some reason they haven't been brought up as a possible headliner in a long time, I honestly wonder if they might be in there?

Jones Jupiter
Stanky McNasty unnecessarily large satchel
Or it's been Pearl Jam the entire time. 20 year anniversary and all.
I don't think Coachella/GV really gives a sh*t about that "20 year" thing, though. They might be there, but that won't be the reason why.
On the other hand, they may very well give a shiz. Probably just a coincidence though.
I've read that their 10th album will probably be released this year. I'm surprised more people aren't bringing them up as the "shared" coach-Roo HL honestly.

they are announcing a wrigley show in september.
Oh I see, it's funny because The Cubs won't be playing.

Well, they definitely aren't playing Governor's Ball.
And badpunz may be right, I think that any band saying "announcement" during festival lineup season automatically sparks speculation, when it could just be regular old tour stuff.

Actually it's not funny.
Well considering it's still the regular season in September, I would think the Cubs would still be playing. Pearl Jam is probably playing on an off-day for the Cubs.
