Tuesday! Gotta be Tuesday.
Would they really want to share the spotlight with PS? Also, that lineup gives me a serious music-boner. Hopefully Coach doesn't fall flat by comparison.

Primavera's lineup always slays, Coachella's will be great and comparable but no where near as densely packed. They have to have some KROQ acts.

After looking at the Primavera lineup, I'm gonna predict Blur/Phoenix/Red Hot Chili Peppers as the headliners. I'll still probably go if The Knife is there, though.
The venue itself is nicer though. Perfect green grass and such, mountains in the distance, beautifully lighted up palm trees, art installations, etc.
Doesn't make the people that attend any better at picking up after themselves though.
Yeah, and the grass. The year I went to Roo (2011) there was barely any grass and dust was all over. Coachella is much nicer, but just because of the venue, not because it is cleaner.

Yeah, 2011 was a beast for the dust. Good thing Ford was giving out the handkerchiefs again.
I went to Roo in '10 and '11 (had tix for '12 but couldn't make it) and Coachella in '12. Personally I'm a bigger fan of Bonnaroo.
Coachella has better weather (at least it's a dry heat and you can wash and hang your clothes at night, and they'll be dry in the morning) and does tend to be cleaner. The big art pieces are cool.
I prefer Bonnaroo because I like their lineup better, the setup of the stages is better (less noisebleed--when I saw The Head and the Heart right next to the Sahara tent, all I heard was the thumping bass drowning out the folk music), the people seem to be friendlier and has a wider range of ages of attendees, I like Centeroo checking out all the vendors--I even built my own drum! The very same drum that effing Coachella confiscated from me, and never answered any emails about me retrieving it. Jerks.
Anywho, I'm still not going to complain too much about Coachella, because I did have a great time last year.
Because I had it. They took it when they checked the car on our way in. Forgot I had left it up in the car top carrier.
It does actually say no drums in the prohibited items, but even then, I just kinda thought that you couldn't bring it to the fest where the music was. I figured it'd be fine in the camping area, and didn't think anything of it when I opened the carrier. Apparently not, though. My Bonnaroo '10 wristband was weaved into the ropes, too, so that memorabilia is gone as well.

Nothing like a drum circle in the morning after 12 hours of music the day before.
Also, side note... I have NO idea how they allow those party busses and vendors that play dubstep till sunrise in the campsites. I would be furious. There are people camping about 10 feet from the bus.
I still don't think Blur, Phoenix or Nick Cave will be a "headliner" at coachella. It's possible that Blur and Phoenix might share the top line on one day though. I feel like those acts are the equivalent of SHM, Justice, Pulp, Refused, Bon Iver, Shins, AtDI, and Florence from last year though. Also, Coachella tix are like 60% more expensive than Primavera tix.

what you believe is inconsequential. ps nick cave is not a headliner.
He's headlining Primavera just like Blur and Phoenix. Did you comprehend my post at all when you read it? We'll see just how "inconsequential" my opinion is when the lineup drops.
