Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo in 2013!!
if RHCP really was playing (which I doubt), headlining Bonnaroo, Lolla and Coachella in under a year would be a crowning achievement in artist management.

I really don't want to get RHCPed. Seeing them at Roo was plenty for me. I just don't think Coachella will recycle them from every other major fest. At least, I hope not.

I have much less issue with Coachella booking a sh*tty headliner than I do with Bonnaroo pulling the same thing, simply because I know there will be something awesome going on at the same time. Last year for the Black Keys (who I don't actually think are sh*tty at all), you could have gone to see Explosions in the Sky or M83. So if they do book RHCP (which I am taking with a grain of salt), whatever. Just means I can see something else cool without as much of a crowd.
Radiohead, prince, muse, chili peppers, etc...and they are lucky if they get 1 mill, but they normally only get 500 k
then you have third tier : snoop, dre, J z...they get 100 k
then you have 4th tier : black keys, munford byoncee, Prince etcc: they get 50k

Valid point. Coachella always has someone worthwhile playing opposite a headliner.

But then again it sucks when you are forced to pick between Dr. Dre and Modeselektor or the Presets and Kanye. Guess options are never a bad thing though.
ummm...who are these derps? NIN...really? seems like f'n Daft Punk is more likely than NIN seeing that HTDA is coming out with an EP next month and are confirmed to be working on an LP due next year. What if we got both HTDA and NIN? I'd definitely prefer that over both AFP and RHCP.
both of them are predicting these though: Amanda Palmer Blur Divine Fits Fiona Apple Grizzly Bear Japandroids Local Natives Of Monster and Men Purity Ring
Saw the Cloud Nothings tonight and actually got to talk to the lead singer Dylan outside after the show. Asked him if they were playing any festivals next summer, he said "just Coachella so far".

Both Indiechella and Monklish are rumor-mongering types who either "predict" the lineup or, if you want to believe them, have sooper-seekrit inside connections that help them figure things out.
In reality, it seems like both just pull their info from the message board and lump in other, semi-likely guesses. Then they'll throw in things like NIN for the "wow" factor.
Stick with the "rumored and confirmed" thread on the Coach message board, it's going to be way more accurate without the bullsh*t. Both Monklish and Indiechella basically took all those artists, then all the others that people have mentioned as strong possibilities on the board (and NIN, for some reason). That's all it is.

Yeah he's right. Monkish just rips off the Coach message board and takes credit for it all. It would be like someone independently taking credit for what Inforooers do in the speculation threads. She also predicts Daft Punk every year. Super lame.

It has basically been my vacation every year for the past 5 years and I just can't afford to go anymore (especially since I plan on buying a house soon and am planning on going to Europe next summer). Bonnaroo is only a 12 hour drive for me so I can manage that since I don't have to deal with airfare, rental cars, and all of that good stuff.
I've seen my fair share of amazing sets and have had some of the greatest moments of my life out there but it's time for me to do something different. Gonna suck to miss out though.
Anywho...do y'all do an Inforoo meetup at Coach? I'd love to meet some of you guys if so.

I understand that. Kind of how I feel about bonnaroo at this point, although I don't have the cajones to make that call yet.
As for meetups, there is a pool party on Thursday in the works. Plus I'm sure there will be much meeting up for shows all weekend. Are you camping or staying in a hotel?
Also, are we FB friends? I have a hard time matching real names to inforoo names sometimes.
