Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Just gonna go ahead and echo everyone else in this thread...best addition for sure. I was really hoping for this and was disappointed when they weren't on the initial lineup or first round of adds. Now if only they would add some metal I would be perfectly happy.
We kind of accidentally wandered into their set in '09 but man it was great. Listening to the Area 52 album now and loving it. Should be good times.
Same happened with me and my group. Ended up stayin' and watchin' the rest of their show that year! Can't wait to catch them again and these tunes with the CUBA sound awesome!

suggestion to all fans of this album, you should all check out the album Carnivale Electricos by Galactic. It came out a couple months ago and is a great mix of Galactic's New Orleans funk and latin inspired funkiness. Its a perfect blend of American Mardi Gras and Brazilian Carnivale, but really funky.
I think I'll try and pick this album up on RSD in a week. I'll be out shoppin' anyway. But this show is a must see! Please don't conflict with anythin' too bad.
What an epic addition. How often have they added a top-15 billed act this late? Doesn't happen often with Roo does it? Either way I'm definitely going to be at this one.

I'm glad people are so pumped for this add. When I saw it I thought it was cool but it didn't have the "wow" factor for me. I already have more than enough for me, in all honesty the arch is enough for me, but it's good to see people excited about this.

I compiled a list of my top 20 on the bill and they shoot up to like number 3. They are on my live music bucket list and I'm so out of my mind that it's finally going to happen

I saw the R&G show at Massey Hall last night - you will not be disappointed. The musicians from Cuba are very good and add so much to the songs. They played for two hours - amazing show. I've seen R&G play three times before last night and the show last night was the best.

Listened to the album a few days ago while driving around with my dog......I dug it. I'm always more of a lyrics guy but I can get down on awesome instrumentals.

Lab mixed with something. No clue what. She's a rescued pup from somewhere down south so when I got her nobody knew what she was mixed with. Everyone who sees her has a different guess as to what it is.
You guyssssss: ATL show is amaaaaaazeballs. I'm here, I'm jamming, I am so impressed, I'm posting this from the ladies room. Omg. Great show. Really hope to see them at Roo!!!

Tonight in Miami!!! Cant wait to see these guys again, i'll never forget 07 thursday night when we walked up on that tent to find these guys putting down a serious jam that blew me away, i had no idea who they where then. killer way to end a thursday at roo, it set such an awesome tone for the rest of the weekend, but then again thursdays at roo have a way of doing that :-)

Yes it was. My wife and I went so it would be easier to skip at Bonnaroo when they inevitably conflict with someone else we want to see. Instead, it only made it a harder show to miss.
These guys are my biggest must-see of the weekend. Their music just has so much raw, unadulterated ENERGY. I saw them a month ago in Philly - the show was great and the bassist from C.U.B.A. is insanely good. The theater I saw them at had seats, so I'm really looking forward to seeing them in a place where people can jump and dance around.
How popular are RyG at 'Roo? I think they're some of the most talented artists there but I don't seem to hear a lot of hype about them. I'm planning on being in the pit for them so I'm trying to decide if it's a bad idea to leave the area after the end of the Avett's set.

I'm pretty sure this will be their third time at 'Roo, so at least the festival likes them enough to invite them back. And that also leads me to believe that the audiences have been big enough fer 'Roo to feel they are a strong addition. Also when I saw them in 2009 and had no clue who they were, they rocked my face off and my buddies and I stayed the whole set. In the middle of the day. At the What Stage. In the sun. It was hot. And they were awesome.

I just want to hear them play Stairway to Heaven and my Roo will be complete.

Bump. I was thinking today about the energy at the What Stage on Friday. The Avett Brothers will have a good crowd and a lot of people will sing along. Then some people will leave to see other things and those who remain will know they're in it for the next 5 hours. The community atmosphere combined with RodYGab's awesome music will be the perfect lead up to Radiohead's show.
Really looking forward to spending Friday at the What.
