Ken Tremendous @kentremendous I'm not sure how this is possible, but every NFL team is better than every other team, and also every team is terrible, and also great..

So true.
And nothing screams this more than the arguments currently going on between Pats, Jets, Billdos and Phin fans about who is in first place. Or who is in last place. Since they're all 3-3 and every team is in both first and last place, I find that funny.

Admittedly I haven't seen a single play in the MNF game, but it really seems like only a Norv Turner led team could blow a 24 point home lead in 20 minutes.
Well you have to remember that Philadelphia fans are terrible. Reid consistently has the Eagles contending for the playoffs with mediocre talent. To get rid of that would be stupid.
The problem with the Eagles isn't Andy Reid, it's management who consistently gives him mediocre talent on offense. Vick is not a good QB and they have no solid #1 wide out. Yeah, they have McCoy, but a running back isn't going to take you to the Super Bowl.

Maclin is a beast when healthy and Desean is a great #2, plus McCoy is a top 5 back. The problem isn't the position players, it's the O-line and Vick who warped into a huge turnover machine (he had 30 TD's and 9 turnovers in 2010).
Maclin had one really good season, 2010, but other than that, I think he is pretty meh when you compare him to some of the other #1 targets. I'll give you that Desean is a really good #2 since his numbers are pretty even to Maclin's. I have no argument about Shady McCoy. I said he was great, I just don't value the position very high.
You are absolutely right, though. Vick is terrible. He had that turn around season you mention, but has fumbled 30 times in his last 30 games (not all lost). What is Reid supposed to do?

Reid's time management skills are historically bad. I don't think he's a bad coach in general, but it's extremely rare any coach is with a professional sports team for 14 seasons--especially when they haven't won a championship. If they don't make the playoffs this year he pretty much has to be done. Bill Barnwell actually had a really interesting article on Grantland today discussing the whole Vick/lack of viable backup option.
I know that in those 14 years, Andy Reid has taken the Eagles to the playoffs 10 times. I mean you can't ask for much more than that. Most of those seasons are with underwhelming talent as well.
Say it again LD, I just tasted vomit reading that. The only chance Jets have to beat the Pats is if Sanchez gets knocked out the game in the 4th quarter.
Yes, and one of the many ways they can beat the Phins is if Sanchez plays like sh*t.
BOOM!
2 Weeks for the season sweep, bruh-heem.
Not gonna happen. We let you have the first game, it was for Sparano. I am not a fan of the childish let-me-call-a-last-second-timeout-and-ice-the-kicker crap. It is not a surprise anymore and just gives the kicker a free warm up kick, but that would not be an issue if we could make field goals. Anyways, see ya'll soon! at some point Sanchez will get knocked out of the game, it will happen, then Coach Ryan will be forced to do what he does not want to do, play Tebow. Tebow will then lead the Jets to a 4th quarter comeback. It will happen. Just hope it is not against my Phins. Why does he not incorporate Tebow more? Like his religious or not, kid is a FOOTBALL player and should be on the field. As a Phin fan, at this time, I have no problem claiming last place in our division.
Since everyone is giving a top 5 list, I will say, I do not have one. First off, those lists will be 80% different in 9 weeks from today and second, "Any given Sunday!" At this point, even my Phins have a chance, who are tied for 7th place in the league. Go Phins! I do think Houston is overrated. I thought this before last week, who have they beaten? Ravens will not be the same with out Rice and that loss alone, his leadership lost, will hurt that D and team. After what the Giants did to San Fran, how can you not put them on a top 5 list, looks like the O-line redeemed themselves from the last meeting between those two teams. I think Green Bay is better than the record they have, I am not saying that because of the shellacking they put on Texas, although is does show that.
The Eagles problem was having an offensive line coach as a defensive coordinator and Mike Vick now owning a dog. Both of those are not right.

Tebow's lack of playing time has nothing to do with his religion and everything to do with him throwing footballs with the same accuracy as me hitting the water when taking a piss in my bathroom in pitch black.

Not saying put him under the center, I said you had a FOOTBALL player and he should be used more. Wildcat, use him as a back, I think he is your biggest? H back, F back modified tight end? Be creative.

I've heard this from many, many people and to be completely honest when I first started hearing it I'd catch myself nodding and thinking...."hey, they have a point..."
But then my knowledge of football kicked in after watching game film for a football site I help out with analysis. Tebow, simply put, is a horrible football player outside of running the ball. That's all he can do, but he's like Peyton Hillis on roids when he does it. I would have no problem with Teebs lining up as a Wildcat QB 5-8 times a game and just running downhill for 4+ yards a clip on some short-yardage plays and down by the goal line. I'd be all aboard that thought train.
But he CANNOT play anything else. He can't block, he can't catch, he is a horrific (almost insulting) route runner. He runs the ball as well as anyone in football, but does nothing else as well as anyone else in football. Either hand him the ball to run it, or keep him off the field.
