Man, if it does end up GB-Sea (still not holding my breath) that's a massive break for the Packers considering how the last matchup went. Sucks though.

Between the change of QB & venue, I'm more worried about GB-SF in the playoffs than their Week 1 matchup... and that one didn't go so well either.
I'm still thinking it's like 55-60% the 49ers win. Whether or not Justin Smith plays could have a massive impact on the game. Also, Green Bay didn't have a back on the field for like literally half of their snaps the first game, so at least some semblance of a run game should help them out. Their pass defense should be better this time around considering the experience all the youngins in the defensive backfield have compared to Week 1. I'm worried Gore/Kaepernick and co. will run all over them, though.

I think GB fans should be rooting for Atlanta this weekend because of the home field disadvantage of playing at Lambeau against a run/scramble offense in shizzy weather.
Flanzo, I agree that I don't know what horrible thing happened to Kruger to make him that angry, but the man came to play Sunday.
Kruger has been well liked by Raven fans, he just hasn't had the opportunity to start until this season. With Jarret Johnson lost to free agency someone had to fill the outside linebacker spot. Kruger was more than ready. We love it. The timing is rather unfortunate for Ozzie though, this is the last year in Kruger's contract so they will have no choice but to pay him, especially considering the jury is still out on how effective Suggs will be going forward.

Sparano is a good coach. He made Austin Howard (an outright train wreck in preseason, by no exaggeration) and made him, according to my NFL Bible ProFootballFocus.com, the best run blocking RT in the league. He instituted a new blocking scheme (Jets went from zone to power/misdirection) and the OL still ended up a top-10 unit overall. And yes, despite the nonsense you read constantly, the Jets were one of the 10 best OL's in football, or at least on the fringe.
Sparano's issue was Sanchez. Sparano's offense is basically a "chunk" power running offense. By that I mean, he would use power running to set up deep passes through play-actions and rollouts. Because Mark Fart regressed to high school level, that rendered that entire portion of the playbook useless. The Jets spent 2012 throwing 5 yard passes and running into 9 or 10 man boxes. An average QB takes the team to the playoffs, Sanchez was a 3 or 4-win swing on the season. Because of that, I can't really fault Sparano too much, even if he was unimaginative on offense. When your QB is your worst player, it renders everything else pretty much useless.
No ouch. He was always going there. If the Jets miss out on Gamble, then that's an ouch, since that's the guy they've had their sights set on the entire time.
Also, the NY Daily News' mole (defensive coordinator Mike Pettine) just took a lateral move to be the DC of the Billdos. If you think Rex isn't going to dial up some new sh*t to show the pupil who the master is, go see a doctor. Good lord, if Fitz is still the Billdos QB next year, he might not make it past the first Jets game.

Angelo is not their primary option, he's not even in the top 5. Right now the top-3 are Gamble (who had an atrocious interview, but the team is still considering him based on his personnel experience), Omar Khan (from the Steelers) and John Idzik (VP for the Seahawks).
What happens when you pay your QB more money than any other player in NFL history and use what piddly money you have left over to buy nothing but linebackers? You get the worst defense in the history of the NFL. We didn't even truly have player suspensions.
What is our team's solution? Make our coach the highest paid coach in NFL history. I like that Tom Benson owns everything in New Orleans and doesn't mind spending money, but I would love for us to find some guy who can rush the passer or at least a couple guys who know how to cover a wide receiver AT ALL.
I'm actually angry that Brees took RG3's spot in the Pro Bowl. He needs to understand that if we are going to pay him so much money that we cannot afford to fix ANY other holes, he should at least not be on every commercial on television. Every time I see him on a commercial it reminds me that 20 million a year isn't quite enough. GO TRY LEADING YOUR TEAM AND STOP THROWING SO MANY INTERCEPTIONS.
Cutler is a really good QB. People just don't like him, but he's just as good as Romo. Jay Cutler being in Chicago is what makes this Head Coaching vacancy the most attractive one in the NFL.
I don't think Cutler is "really good," but he's probably better than most people give him credit for. He hasn't had a good OC in Chicago (lol Mike Tice) so I don't really think it's fair to judge him fully quite yet. Assuming they hire an offensive minded coach and Alshon Jeffrey progresses, it'll definitely be a disappointment if his 2013 season is similar to this years.
The play calling on offense has been beyond awful. The O-line is equally bad, thanks to Jerry Angelo, which is the reason for my comment to Flanz. Its kind of hard to compare Jay and Romo's stats. In Jay's time in Chicago, he's had absolutely no one to throw to. Not even a legit number 2. This is why Forte is completely over rated, because for years our running back was our most dependable wide receiver. He's also never had a dependable tight end. Olsen was mediocre at best. All of this is also thanks to Jerry Angelo. So when you combine a horrendous O-line, only one legitimate target for Jay to throw to, and a first time play caller. You get the completely inept offense that was the Chicago Bears.
Romo has had plenty of targets including Dez Bryant, Miles Austin, and Jason Witten. Not really a fair comparison.

I agree with most of what you said, pmo, but I've gotta think Olsen is better than just average. You can thank ol' Mikey Martz and his hatred of tight ends for Olsen getting traded and leaving you with Kellen Davis.

I feel like Olsen has had a pretty average career, but there's no doubt, he's a big step up from Davis. And yes, Martz was bad. Which is why Lovie needed to be let go. He had four chances to hire a good OC, and was not able to do it.

This is implying the Jets actually expected to "move him" in any way besides cutting him. They don't, the Jags were a 1/1,000,000 shot and they're just going to eat the dead money and cut him most likely.
Yahoo has a good article about how people are actually doing Tebow a disservice by letting this charade continue. Caldwell (the Jags' GM) was great, he said he sees no way in which the team would acquire Tebow, and then the reporter asked him to repeat it because he could not fathom that answer coming out.
