Say it again LD, I just tased vomit reading that. The only chance Jets have to beat the Pats is if Sanchez gets knocked out the game in the 4th quarter.

Yes, and one of the many ways they can beat the Phins is if Sanchez plays like sh*t.
This moves the Bears into top 5 for power rankings.
Houston Atlanta Baltimore Chicago San Franciso
Anybody who doesn't have the Giants in their top 5 is watching soccer.
You can make an argument for any of those teams, really. Houston/Atlanta/Chicago/Baltimore should be in everyone's top 4.
Then it's about which 4-2 team is best, Giants or San Fran (which I personally feel was answered yesterday, but I can understand why people would be hesitant to anoint the Gmen right now.
Yeah, it's crazy not to put the Giants above the Niners after that shellacking, but I didn't even realize the Giants were 4-2. Their wins just don't seem that impressive.

Well, 3/4 of their wins have come against teams with a combined record of 4-12. But they just spanked an elite team, so they're going to be one of those teams that's questioned until they have a second significant win, as is the way of the NFL.
In the Bears defense, they usually get off to a slow start offensively. They have a game early in the season where the O-line plays terribly and Cutler gets destroyed. Last year it was the Lions game, two years ago it was the Giants. Then Lovie Smith and his crew make the necessary adjustments and they turn into a playoff team. That has been without the offensive weapons we have now. The defense played great against green bay, and continues to play great. They are the best in the league at generating points with their defense, and as much as people like to write off Cutler because of his attitude, fact is they are 9-1 in their last 10 games with Cutler behind center, and with Green Bay off to a slow start, and a weak upcoming schedule, they are favored to take the north.
In Chicago, maybe, but for those of us without a dog in this fight, Aaron Rodgers just eviscerated one of the 3 best defenses in the league last night.
No doubt, but when you only have 16 games, being down 2 games is a big deal. The next three games for the Bears are Detroit, Carolina, and Tennessee. All games they should win. So the Pack have a lot of ground to make up.

They're two games back, but they currently hold the head-to-head tie-breaker, so the Bears must win their next game against the Pack.
I wouldn't sleep on either the Detroit or Tennessee games, those will both be tough wins.
Packers have easy games coming up as well, so expect any loss the Bears suffer will be a game that the packers make up. I'm betting that the NFC North is up for grabs until the Week 16, possibly even the final week of the season.

I feel like the whole Top 5 thing is pointless because through 6 weeks there isn't a single team where you're like "Yeah, they've been awesome consistently." Obviously Atlanta is 6-0, but they've been pretty far from impressive the last three weeks. I suppose it's a testament to them that they're winning these close games, but they just haven't really looked great since week 3. Houston finally played a good team and look what happened. Green Bay is the only team to beat either the Bears or the Texans, but got embarrassed in the second half against the Colts and got thoroughly outplayed by the 49ers. The Giants have looked much better of late but have been their usual inconsistent selves. I definitely agree with quacker though that they're pretty easily a Top 5 team. Baltimore hasn't been super impressive really, the AFC East is just weird, AFC West sucks, Bears need to beat a team better than the Cowboys before you can declare they're great. Cards will finish like 8-8 or something probably, although admittedly I haven't looked at their schedule. Seattle's basically 3-3 and probably need to do something on the road other than beat Carolina to prove they're a great team. It's just been a super strange year.
Yeah Chicago hasn't beaten anyone ”great”, but they aren't just beating these mediocre teams, they are destroying them. They have the largest point differential in the NFL. The true sign of a great team is winning the games you are supposed to win. The Bears have done that. So I stand strong with my statement that they are one of the NFL's best teams this year.
I forgot, the Seahawks played very well in the first half so it doesn't matter that they were easily outplayed in the second and had a tremendous amount of help from the referees.
Regardless, it doesn't change my opinion that they're a good team but probably 5th or 6th best in the NFC.
