Wow, and the real refs almost took the game away from the Eagles tonight with 3 questionable interference calls. As we said last week, it is not always greener on the other side.
Thye gaveth and they tooketh away. I suppose the non-holding call at the end of the half that forced the FG did nothing? And the (correct) OPI call pushed the Giants out of easier FG range.
Anyway the Eagles won it bc Eli threw a redzone INT. It was nothing the refs did.
I just hate coaches playing to not lose as opposed to playing to win, which happens all the time. If Carolina wants to compete for the division (of course they won't, but I'm sure the coaches and players legitimately believe they can), this is a game that was absolutely a must-win, but instead they played it safe and by the book and it cost them.
You jumped back on that football wagon pretty quick huh? No toddler tantrums this week?
Edit: Hope fully this didn't come off wrong. Not a shot. I once made an entire bar feel uncomfortable when the Bears lost the Super Bowl. Then again, when we lost the NFC Championship to Green Bay. Same bar.
No worries, I didn't take it that way. Unsurprisingly I was back at it, though there were still plenty of questionable/bad calls during the Packer game. Including that holding call during Hartley's made FG that would've put them up two with about 3 minutes left. You just don't see that called often, but there were literally three different holding calls on extra points/field goals in that game.
Peace out Bears. My boys are going to have to take this one.
I can certainly imagine the Cowboys whupping ass on defense but I think da Bears will do the same. If the Bears don't shut down the Boys offense this is going to be a laugher. And that really sucks for my fantasy chances.
The Cowboys don't have an offensive line. DeMarco is in trouble against a strongy Chicago run D. Look for this game to hinge on Tony Romo. Curious to see how Forte does if he plays...

Snooze fest, ready for his game to end anyways (traffic was stupid today). I live about five blocks from the stadium. Get these fools out of my city, I want some freakin ice cream!
So in my fantasy league, I need a good running back, my top 3 are Sproles, Jackson, and Matthews. My friend is offering me Trent Richardson for one of my wide receivers, and I have Torrey Smith, Fitzgerald, and Welker. He is mostly interested in the first two. Which would be a better trade, if either?

So, does anyone from Detroit or Pitt know the lowdown on this Aaron Berry character. Sounds like he's a briefcase full of $100's and a camera away from living life as if it were a rap video.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. Had a great couple seasons at Pitt and he hit his senior year of college and just started wildin out.....he's been arrested not once, but twice just over the summer for DUI and gun charges. Dude is a mess, I know the Jets are hurting for a CB but this is a gamble. I wonder if this had alot to do with Revis. Revis helped recruit Berry to Pitt.
And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.
One day after Gang Green’s 34-0 home loss to San Francisco, Jets owner Woody Johnson was asked on Bloomberg TV Monday if he would rather have a winning Jets season or a victorious presidential election for Mitt Romney.
His answer only added to the suffering of a tortured fan base.
“Well I think you always have to put country first,” Johnson said. “So I think it’s very, very important that for - not only us - but in particular for our kids and grandkids that this election come off with Mitt Romney and (Paul) Ryan as President and vice president.”

Excellent. The Russell Wilson part is nice and "highest single season passing yardage of all time, f*ckers" made me laugh for some reason.
I love these face Facebook status things. Like the ones with God and such, but this made me laugh quite a bit. I think the part with Romo was the funniest.
