Chuck Berry when it comes to influence isn't above EWF or Journey.
I appreciate you setting this up and I understand that musical taste is subjective. But as much as anyone, Chuck Berry invented Rock 'n Roll.
Woooow, what a major typo . I meant the opposite. Obviously Chuck Berry is more influential. I dunno what the hell went wrong when I typed it. I would give myself a Monday for that if I could. . Thanks for pointing that out billypilgrim. Seriously Johnny B Goode and Maybelline are top notch singles and who can forget "My Ding Aling"

With regard to Radiohead doing surprisingly well, I think it helped that they went up against BY FAR the weakest 1 seed in the second round. I really don't think they'd have beaten The Beatles, Stones, or Dylan. At least I hope not.
