Just recently discovered this guy and I feel he needs to be on the farm this year. His debut album 'Home Again' just got released on iTunes. Absolutely amazing soul music from this young brit. Sounds straight out of 1973, its so smooth. If we are going to have a lack of bluegrass/country & metal on the line-up, we may as well stock up on as much soul and blues as possible.

One of my colleagues is a club DJ of strictly British soul music (a DJ with a PhD!). He's DJ'ed all over the world, has a podcast, and collects Northern soul albums the way Rob in High Fidelity collected indie ones...but he has NEVER mentioned this guy! Excuse me for a minute while I go downstairs & smack him upside the head for holding out.

In all fairness he's pretty new on the scene. Three EP's and an album due in June, I think.

This addition rules. Are we thinking (hoping) a Thursday show here? Looking at his tour dates posted above it looks like either that or Friday. No Friday, please!

The album is amazing. I love that this guy was added. Jumped towards the top of my list. Lots of soul acts this year that I'm excited for. Charles Bradley, Alabama Shakes, Fitz and the Tantrums, now this. Gonna be a soulful Roo this year.
This is my song. Love this one so much. The whole album is great.
Agreed. This is my favorite addition this year, and barring some late minute miraculous Neil Young working out, will stay my favorite addition. I had no idea who this dude was until a few days ago. I just wish he wasn't going on the already overloaded Friday. Maybe he will be a tent opener on Friday.
