Sunday has the most conflicts for me this year. I'll be jumping from The Black Lips, to The Beach Boys, The War on Dr-gs, then The Joy Formidable, Bon Iver to The Shins, Young The Giant, and Fun.
I don't expect to catch full sets from anyone But I do expect it to be amazing!
I'm going to have to break it up...45 min Shins, 45 min fun...I refuse to choose...and I just saw fun. last month for the 4th time. Music is my religion and seeing fun. is like going to church, you drink in everything they say and feel moved when you leave. But I've yet to get a chance to see The Shins so I have to make the effort.
I was spent by Sunday last year, this year i'm really going to have to pace myself as Sunday is the best day for me.

This is my biggest disappointment of the festival. I will literally be sprinting from Bon Iver to try and catch som Fun.. "We Are Young" and "Some Nights" are big right now but their entire first album was pure gold. This is my favorite song by them. So regal.

I was really bummed to see them conflicting with the shins and civil wars, but I have to see fun. just have to.
jack is a huge fan of bonnaroo. when steel train played in 2006 at the sonic stage I had them sign my bonnaroo sampler, which they were on & the guys didn't even know they were on that CD. they literally jumped out of their plastic chairs and cheered for like five minutes saying their life was complete; bonnaroo put them on a cd. jack & the guys of fun. are really genuine and I totally believe they are so grateful and excited to play this bonnaroo.
I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.
