I am starting a list of places that I need to eat/see when I am in Nashville and this is surely on it. Vector! I expect you to attend this dinner as well!!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
bonzai, Prince's chicken is HOT! Not like buffalo-wing hot, it's a whole other category. Nashville is notorious for their hot chicken... there are several places in town to go. But I don't eat the hot chicken because I love my stomach and bowels.

It is hot, but if you go, you have to at least order the medium. That'll show any bacteria lurking in your throat that there's a new sheriff in town...

Julie, I'll vouch for Bonzorz. She can handle heat as if she isn't actually from the land of "I can't even use tabasco, it's TOO HOT!"

Since we're still on hot chicken, I just picked up a few breast quarters from Bolton's Spicy Chicken and Fish on Main. Not as hot as Prince's (I got medium) but a little juicier. To boot, the service was WAY faster and friendlier.

Yeah, I had to go into the office today (downtown) for an hour, unfortunately. There is no hot chicken on my side of town, so I always try to take advantage when I'm out that way on the weekends.

If you venture farther down Gallatin Road, try out Pepperfire. Not as ghetto looking as Bolton's but still good.
I saw another coney island in this post, so I will present George's Coney Island in Worcester Mass, founded in 1918. Has the most award winning restaurant original neon sign in the USA, the hot dog drips mustard at night.

Pepperfire has a little more creative menu too. You can get a hot chicken po'boy there. And deep fried grilled cheese.
Oh snap! I just remembered that the Cruze Dairy Farm Truck is back at the Farmer's Market in Knoxville. If you are thinking, "It's so hot. Milk was a bad choice.", think again! They take their locally produced/hormone free/pesticide free milk and make shakes and ice cream and such with it. The ice cream is so homemade, you can actually taste the fat in the ice cream (trust me. that's an awesome thing). Also, for the fans of the ladies out there, here is a group photo of the truck staff.
There's so many places in Atlanta to eat. Its always nice to go downtown and take it in.
The Steamhouse Lounge. Best lobster bisque in Atlanta.
The Porter Beer Bar. For all you Inforooers, the BEST gastropub you will ever go to. Absolutely amazing food and an absolutely ginormous beer selection.
El Myr. Next door to the Variety Playhouse and down the street from the Porter Beer Bar. Amazingly huge and cheap burritos and Brent Hinds' (of Mastodon) favorite place to eat.
The Varsity. Its an Atlanta institution, and everyone who visits Atlanta has to go to the Varsity to at least experience it.

I'll cosign The Porter. My favorite beer bar in Atlanta, and seriously legit food. Brick Store might have a comparable beer list, but they can't touch The Porter's food.
The Beacon Drive-In in Spartanburg, SC. My husband always has to get a Chili Cheese A-Plenty.
Mac's Drive In in Clemson, SC
The Pot Belly Deli in Clemson, SC. I LOVE their Dagwood sandwiches.
The Peddler Steakhouse in Greenville, SC
Circle M BBQ-Liberty, SC. Best BBQ EVER!
custeph, have you ever gotten down to Cola and eaten at Rush's? They make the most heart-clogging fast food burgers I've ever eaten and their shakes are great.
I haven't quacker, but now I will have to check it out. I hate Cola, or as we like to call it the armpit of the state. I used to go quite often, now it's only like once a year driving thru on our way to the beach. Lunchtime at Rush's just might have to happen next month!
