This thread made me cry. I've not had the extreme pleasure of attending Bonnaroo...YET, but as I prepare to go in a few weeks I keep reading about things to do and what to bring and there is an overwhelming sense of community. It feels awesome to be a part of something so huge.
Hey gang, great news !!!! Got an update from Rae on her sister and her surgery. Good work everybody, this is what it is all about.
Hello generous friends, donors, family and now life changers
I am so excited to tell all of you that thanks to your generous donations Jax will be getting her very critical surgery on October 3rd. We had some setbacks in the past couple of months including the discovery that the expected the cost for the surgery was nearly double what we had been originally told, and her surgeon retired suddenly due to health issues.
BUT - the celebratory point is that thanks to some additional funds from family members the surgery is going forward!
I can't thank you enough for your love and support, I have always believed that anything could be accomplished with the right people, and this is proof of that. Please send warm healing vibes to Jax over the next 7 weeks as she has her surgery and recovers.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Hi Everyone! I wanted to let you know that after four hours of surgery this morning Jax is resting comfortably. You guys seriously made this possibly, and through the donations we were able to pay for the surgery. I am rarely in a position to ask for help, and it has been amazing to ask for help and receive it so abundantly. Below is a picture of her post-op with a straight jaw, a full upper lip and straight nose. I can't wait to see her at my sister's wedding in a few weeks and hear about how much she loves her new jaw, thank you from the entire Gross family
