If they didn't sell out like they did, I was gonna do that thursday night instead also. Would've been a great stop on a roadtrip down to NC.

any guesses on the time frame for Thursday? justice would be fun but i don't know if i want to blow 40 bucks and a night out on the town with awesome people to just see them. unless of course i can swing both.

If Justice was playing the festival proper, I'd probably make an effort to see them. I'm not really interested in dropping an additional $37, though, especially when I don't know if I can even make it up on Thursday. Still, they are a pretty big deal for a kickoff band. Trying to stay optimistic.

I mean let's be real Phi. Cross, awesome in every way. Audio, Video, Disco, terrible in each of those same ways.

Well I'd be pumped for this pre fest show if I didn't already have tickets to see Justice with M83 in August. Still hoping for a quality line-up to get me down for Friday/Saturday.

The ticket sale this weekend is just for the Thursday show, yeah?

One of Moogfest's facebook comments said openers are TBD, so it's possibly not just Justice playing. Either way, Justice will just be the beginning of the evening for us.

Ya know 2 months ago I would have completely agreed with you.

Then I saw a live video of them performing AVD live and it blew me away. So I gave the entire album a second listen and loved it. You should do the same.

Yes I am absolutely heartbroken over SHM breaking up considering i never got to see them live. They were #2 on my EDM want list this year (behind Daft Punk obv). I am still hoping that the last show they announce in August will be in the US (not likely) and I can go see it.

Thats a great documentary. Ive watched it 3 times. If you have the time, sit down and watch it, and you will DEFINITELY be pumped for the Justice show.

I have pretty strong feelings against it but I'll give it another try, especially if we're going to try to hit up the pre-show.
