For sure! PM one of us if you want plan to meet up! (I rarely go on Inforoo on my phone, so I would not recommend PMing me unless I bring my computer. Which is possible...)
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Fri: Pantha -> Killer Mike -> El-P -> Squarepusher -> Ahleuchatistas -> Hawtin/Sia (game time) Sat: Magnetic Fields -> Andy Stott -> Trust -> Orbital -> Four Tet -> Prefuse 73
I don't know how that Orbital -> Four Tet is going to work since I will be getting to Orbital late and will have to get to Four Tet early to avoid waiting in line when/if (probably when) it hits capacity.
Also, should I feel bad that Phil and I have so much of our shows in common on Saturday?
Four Tet ain't gonna hit capacity Dave, not this year. He's at the TWA. He hit capacity the first year when he played at the OP, but he won't at TWA.
And WTF are you trying to prove seeing El-P over Miike Snow? Are you trying to impress flanz or juggs or something?
Well, aren't you just a contrarian motherf*cker this morning?
We shall see about Four Tet, sir. I'm not putting it at a 100% guarantee on it, but it wouldn't surprise me. Orbital ends at midnight with Shpongle afterward. Shongle has his fans, but he also has a lot of detractors. The rest of the people playing at the same time are quality, but don't have drawing power to compare to Four Tet. We have previously established that schedule adds on the website are not the most reliable tool to establish such things, but Four Tet is currently 5th in likes behind Orbital, Santigold, Miike Snow and Squarepusher.
Cancer For Cure is an awesome album. Also, not a huge fan of Miike Snow, but to answer your question... garageland.
I only got a few hours of sleep and have been memorizing f*cking John Donne poems all morning, Dave. I'm f*ckin' cranky. Can't wait to willfully forget all those rhyming couplets and moog the f*ck out with you fine folks in just over 24 hours.
I just thought you were assuming Four Tet was gonna be at the OP. Pretty tough for the TWA to reach capacity, but we shall see.

TWA hit capacity for Flying Lotus (I know) and St Vincent (I think) last year. It can happen.
I just didn't think he'd gotten that big, to the level of Flying Lotus or St. Vincent. I'd love to be wrong; There Is Love In You is probably my favorite electronic album of the last decade, no exaggeration. He was beyond amazing in 2010 at the Orange Peel.
It's not so much that he is that big as that there is a 30 minute gap between Orbital and Shpongle. Everyone that was at Orbital and doesn't care about Shpongle is going to probably go to Four Tet. If there was someone bigger in the OP, then maybe not, but I don't think Carl Craig or Harold Budd are going to get people to leave the Civic Center.

I think we'd be having a different conversation if the conflicts were different. Orbital is going to draw big (especially in the 2nd half after Death Grips lets out). Four Tet will draw well versus Shpongle for the those that are leaving Orbital.
