Silk- Forgot about Delunabucks!! lol that was so gay. My friend had came down for the free day with Willie & Galactic and was completely twisted when he went to get a beer and he didn't undertand wtf delunabucks were.
I'll never forget what he said..."Delunabucks.....are you DELU-SIONAL???" before staggering away pissed off.

hahahahaha that's too funny... did someone say they got rid of that system last year? I hope so. I heard another rumor for the fest this past weekend, unfortunately it's probably true. I heard Blink 182 is playing also... I mean, I'd probably see them if I was there, but only for childhood memory sake.

god. damn. it. They played Voodoo last year and it was one of the most god awful things I've ever witnessed. Caddyshaq and I watched a couple of songs just for the lulz. Hopefully this is just a rumor, because they would definitely be a headliner.

I know it, I imagined it was real bad at voodoo... I heard it from a good friend of mine who usually is in the "know" bout things like that, I hope he's wrong though. I dont know though, do you think they would pick them to headline over ZBB (I doubt Foo or Pearl Jam would get anything less than a headling spot)? I'm not a big fan of zac brown, but I would much rather see them than the shiztiness of blink182.
I don't want to see Blink 182 for childhood memories sake. No reason to ruin something I loved. They were fun live back in the day. As everyone probably knows, Eddie Vedder cancelled his jazz Fest appearance, so I'm counting on this festival now. I hope that rumor is true.

To each his or her own. I honestly could give a rat's ass if they played deluna and I didn't have very fond memories of them when I was a kid, only a few songs did I ever listen to and I didn't own a single record. Therefore, IF they are playing, yes I would see a song or two for "childhood memories" sake. If you "loved" them, why WOULDN'T you see them though???! I understand they are probably sh*t now, but I can't see it being much different than seeing them 7 years ago... they were probably sh*t live back then also.
Did you see the news about the nerve damage that forced Eddie Vedder to reschedule his solo tour? His solo tour will now start on Halloween, as a result. He's hoping to be better by this summer.

I guess the main difference is that back then they were at least fun. I grew up with them, and for preteens and highschoolers the music is perfect, but now I don't even like em on record, cause I don't really wanna listen to songs about weenies and farts and being 16. But, the last time I saw them was on their reunion tour and it was SSSHHHIIIIIITTTTT

I didn't know they did day passes for this...maybe they did it in the past due to poor sales. This year it might sell out before they even get the chance to. I wouldn't underestimate the popularity of ZBB, PJ, and Foo around this area.

Ripped from PNJ.com... "The initial lineup for the Sept. 21-23 festival, to take place on Casino Beach, is set to be released around April 17. Organizers have not yet revealed an exact date."
They only do day passes if it doesn't sell out...and with event a decent undercard, with those headliners,it'll sell out.
I'm thinking that it will sell out also. However, that would be pretty fantastic for Pensacola, because they plan to sell at least 30,000 tickets and possibly more, therefore that would put them in the same running as the bigger named festivals. They said 30k to 50k max capacity...

I wonder just how much the smaller layout will impact the festival. I do think moving the gopensacola.com stage to under the Pensacola Beach Ball was a brilliant idea.
My source says The Dirty Heads are a go. They played there last year too.
They seem to love Pensacola. Played a couple times here I believe. I haven't heard them, but I'm sure it's just like most white guy reggae/ska bands... wouldn't surprise me if they played Deluna again.

Okay, someone is saying a local radio station confirmed Pearl Jam....but also said Dave Matthews. But that can't be right. Dave Matthews Band is playing Hangout Fest, and Hangout is in basically the same area as DeLuna, just maybe a 45 minute drive. Would be very weird.
