I was really happy about the lineup until Lolla was announced. Now I feel like Bonnaroo is taking last place as far as lineups go. I thought we'd at least get something bigger
IMO, Rodrigo Y Gab +CUBA is f*cking huge. at least for a festival like Bonnaroo.
Wow what a pleasant suprise to log in to. Rod y Gab w/ C.U.B.A. is HUGE for me, as I'm sure it is for alot of people.
Roo just keeps stacking acts that are either must-see's or really want to see. The initial lineup had me sweating the conflicting schedule, each artist addition round is making it worse (I know, such a HORRIBLE dilemma :p).
I know there will be a few if not more great cafe acts this year as well.
April 12-14th - Indio, CA - Coachella Weekend 1
May 3-5th - Memphis, TN - Beale St. Music Festival
June 13-16th - Manchester, TN - Bonnaroo
July 12-14th - Louisville, KY - Forecastle Festival
August 2-4th - Chicago, IL - Lollapalooza
September 27-29th - Atlanta, GA - TomorrowWorld
October 25-27th - Asheville, NC - Mountain Oasis
I too am slightly disappointed. I understand Phish's appeal but after seeing Rod Y Gab i was thinking more mid tier acts like them. (hopes were up too high). I still am in love with the line up. That was just my thinking. Phish getting two sets is meh to me. But i am glad all of you are excited for it!:-)
4/17 Jim James
5/17 Foals
6/8 Tallest Man On Earth
6/11 Local Natives
6/13-16 Bonnaroo
7/6 Bob Dylan, My Morning Jacket, and Wilco
7/12-14 Forecastle
8/15 STS9 and Umphreys McGee
10/25-27 Mountain Oasis
Phish was always playing two sets... on Sunday. Just like Umphrey's Mcgee will most likely play two sets if they are a late night act. It's what jam bands do
Am I the only one who is bugged by the fact that they placed the asterisk in front of Stephen Wright when there are no other asterisks preceding the beginning of each line?

I'm assuming all we are gonna get as far as additions is cafe acts. Other announcements are gonna be late-night shows and probably whoever is in the Superjam.

I'm anal about grammar/formatting.
It only looks like that after the page completely loads. Every name looks like it should have an asterisk

Phish will play two separate shows. I'd actually really enjoy them getting a Saturday morning set. It'd be different, keep the late night conflicts minimized and I'd get to see their full show. As is, they'll probably play after RHCP and then I won't get to see them. Bah.

It also doesnt say anywhere that these are all the additions we'll get. There's no tweet, email, or article announcing these...There WILL be announcement when they're ready to release all the names.

There's an announcement on Bonnaroo.com but you're right that they don't say these are all the additions we'll get. The lineup page still says "more to be announced".
lol it says that nowhere. They're saying Phish is playing 2 sets. Not 2 shows.
They're really shouldn't have made a big announcement about this for this exact reason. A lot of people are going to think there are two Phish shows now.
I agree....not sure why they'd say that now unless they were getting questions online asking if Phish would get a full show or just one set.
I was already pretty thrilled with our lineup. I wasn't trying to expect much from anymore additions. I still think Bonnaroo has one of the better lineups this year.
I'm overall a little disappointed. Not a big Radiohead, RHCP, or Phish fan. Beach Boys are cool, but their voices aren't nearly as good as they used to be and that's not good when most of your music is based on harmonies. Bon Iver is good, but I wasn't expecting the number five band to have only released two albums. I've seen the Avetts about a million times. They come through Ohio a lot. The Shins never particularly impressed me. Foster the People may just be a one hit wonder. Skrillex is Skrillex. Dispatch hasn't done anything worth while in about a decade, and the big nonheadlining legend is Alice Cooper. I mean, come on?
