Anybody checked out Lukas Nelson? Saw him a few months back opening for Fogerty and he could jam. Plus, he is Willie's son. It'd be a pretty sweet Thursday show IMO
"I mean, Led Zeppelin didn't write tunes everybody liked. They left that to the Bee Gees." "this whole situation has just turned his whole life upside down face."
2012: RHCP, Phish, Beach Boys, Aziz, The Roots, Alice Cooper, Superjam, Blackstar, The Word, Luda, Flogging Molly, Spectrum Road, Umphrey's, Black Lips, Gary Clark Jr., Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Trampled By Turtles
Also, I don't if anyone has mentioned The Kills, but how have they never played Bonnaroo? Blood Pressures had pretty good success in 2011 and they put on a great show.
Glad you mentioned this. I had kinda assumed the Kills would be there the whole time and was pretty disappointed when the lineup dropped without them. They would be a great addition and need to be there.
and garage land who is it that used to be pedro the lion? i saw all of tat band minus the vocals in a small basement show years back and it was amazing but i cant remember the name of that band.
David Bazan. He used to live up the road from me when I lived in Portland. His solo stuff is good. I'm a fan.

Well there were a little over 100 bands that played the 5 main stages last year. 18 on Thursday, 30 give or take a few on Friday and Saturday and about 25 on Sunday. So we should be getting ~15 more adds to fill out the schedule
there is no real jamtronic act this year (unless you count Big Gigantic, which I do NOT) so I feel that Lotus is a good bet. But there isn't necessarily jamtronic every year, (2009). Without a super trippy electo-heady jam-band like Bisco or STS9 I think they'll either give the latenight to Umphrey's or add Lotus. Part of me thinks that if Lotus is not an addition then Umphrey's is close to a lock for the latenight.

Yup, I'd say that's about right Juggs. I think the SuperJam ends up being Atoms for Peace and we get Jack White as the big add though. Maybe that's hoping for too much. Those were just two acts that I couldn't (and still can't) possibly fathom NOT being at Bonnaroo this year.
The rest of your acts I all agree with perfectly though, except I don't think we're getting Kasabian. I've felt all along like that website either had a typo or we're confusing them with someone else when they posted that Kasabian would be at Bonnaroo. They retracted it shortly after it was put up and there have been no talks of it elsewhere. I think that was just a goof.
The rest of that list is pretty much exactly what I would predict, though.
Seems impossible with how stacked the line up is but my dream.. is that DJ Shadow (dropped these remixes today - soundcloud.com/djshadow/sets/dj-shadow-remix-project-1) is an addition vs. Skrillex (assumptive) Which Stage.
I expect it to more likely be Skrillex vs. Luda vs FlyLo on Saturday though

I would say...
- Atoms for Peace (unless this is the Superjam) - Kasabian - Danzig - Yonder Mountain - Galactic - Cage the Elephant - Tame Impala - Givers - Infamous Stringdusters - 2 metal bands - 2 reggae/world bands - 2 bluegrass-ish bands
That'd be 15. I really feel like all the bands that were "quasi-confirmed" but didn't appear on the lineup will be the additions, plus a couple more.
this looks like the most likely outcome, though drop kasabian for at the drive in and add lykke li... not for any particular reason other than i want them there
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
Bob Dylan Eddie Vedder Robyn Hitchcock The Head & the Heart Fleet Fox's The Wilderness of Manitoba The Carolina Chocolate Drops The Secret Sister Brian Carpenter's Ghost Train Orchestra Pokey Lafarge
saw them open for Cloud Cult. great show. I'm hoping they'll get added along with Cloud Cult, one of the greatest live bands.
I'm also crossing my fingers (and toes) for Herbie Hancock. Herbie Hancock performing Headhunters, late night, could be one of the most incredible sets imaginable.
2012 shows: 3/23 - The Men 4/9 - Of Monsters & Men 4/21 - Bassnectar 5/2 - Shpongle 5/22 - Jack White 6/1 - tUnE-yArDs 6/7-6/10 - Bonnaroo 2012 6/18 - Destroyer 6/20 - The Tallest Man On Earth 6/23-6/24 - Governor's Ball
She, insider, said "it's amazing how things were NOT finalized" yet with the lineup....hmmm...The Rolling Stones are still in talks/meetings for a tour this summer....If you look at the lineup...there is plenty of space to plug in The Rolling Stones before Radiohead....Saturday = RHCP > Rolling Stones
A lot of people on here are still mentioning Prince - I wouldnt rule this out as yet.
From what I remember, last year when Glastonbury was trying to book him they didnt go through with it because apparently he only confirms gigs around 6 weeks before the event which is too much of a gamble for a Glastonbury headliner , which is why he ended up at the Hop Farm festival instead as they added a day to the festival for him
Sublime with Rome, Metric, The Dirty Heads and Kimbra are all playing a show for a radio station in Kansas City on June 2nd.
They're playing with Foster the People, the Shins, Flogging Molly, The Joy Formidable, the Kooks and the Antlers (all playing Bonnaroo). So perhaps those bands are possible additions?

I'm really thinking that the artist additions will we a step up from previous years. With the Insider "4th headliner" falling through, and so many of the confirmed bands not on the line-up, I'm thinking that the next set of artists will be just as exciting as the initial drop.
