Manders, I really hope youre right about Bahamas. He is incredible live and his new LP is fantastic. It would also be cool to see a Toronto boy turn some heads down in TN!!!

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah would have made a ton of sense. I was 100% positive they would be added and was really looking forward to it.
But unless they're playing thursday (and they seem too big for that) we are wrong:

I hope you're right. It would be an 11.5 hour drive the night/morning of the 7th from Tampa, and another 8 hours the night of the 8th. Mad props to them if they do it. Hope we find out today.

May mean nothing, but they're tinkering with the site again. Moving some of the names to make things look more balanced on each line. Added Pedro Martinez Group to line 10.
Jukebox the Ghost is definitely getting the add. Not sure why they didn't get announced with the last additions, but they are for sure playing.
My hope is that this is telling of the quality of cafe adds we'll ge this year. If Reptar and Jukebox qualify, then they might be getting slightly better known bands as a whole. I think both would have gotten a stage in past years.
I'm hoping for 2:54 from the UK as a cafe addition. They're starting to get some attention here in the US, getting a lot of airplay on Sirius/XM U. Their US East Coast tour starts in NY on June 9th. Thursday spot is entirely possible I would think.
I emailed Clap Your Hands back in January about Sasquatch/Roo and they only indicated they'd be at Sasquatch. They ended up on the Sasquatch lineup but not Roo, so I'm thinking it's very unlikely.

I'd love to see them at Bonnaroo, but they're playing in the U.K. 6/7, then NY 6/9, and DC 6/10. I'm pretty sure they'll take a day off.
(1) Damon Albarn (2) Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds (3) King Khan & His Shrines (4) Ty Segall (5) Ms Lauryn Hill (6) Darkside (7) Kanye (8) Janelle Monae (9) Goat (10) Meshuggah.

I just don't understand why its takng them so long to pull their shit together this year. This is getting to be by far the longest we've ever gone without cafe additions. And we havnt heard a peep about latenight.

Just got a press release from a PR company reading:
"TAUK
Announces Bonnaroo
Performance
New York, NY - April 25, 2012 - The New York based rock fusion group known as Tauk, announced today they will perform at this year's Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on June 7-10th in Manchester, TN. Tauk is breaking into the national music scene with the release of their new EP, "Pull Factors." Tauk's sound is a unique blend of funk, jazz, pop, and rock with a fresh, experimental spirit that has already attracted an early DIY buzz. The band has scored opening gigs for O.A.R, MOE., Robert Randolph & the Family Band, 311, Tea Leaf Green, been featured on Fuse TV, and earned slots at top festivals like Gathering of the Vibes (alongside Buddy Guy and Bob Weir & RatDog) and upcoming gigs at the Hangout Music Fest, Summer Camp Music Fest, Great South Bay Music Fest and Peach Festival with The Allman Brothers.

I suspect that this hasn't been the best year for the people who put on Roo. they've had a few mishaps that have made them come off as unprofessional, and despite what everyone on the board says, I still think we missed out on a few lineup additions. I think Bonnaroo was pulling for a few other big names (like NY&CH) that fell through, and they've been trying to make the best of it ever since. they just haven't quite caught up yet..
That's the only way I could think to explain the long wait times, multiple artist addition announcements, ticket servers crashing, and the other "goofs" that have occurred

It seems like every time we start hearing about confirmations from artists, we get a new list of adds later that day. It must have something to do with when Bonnaroo allows the confirmed artists to make announcements.

Lines 11 and 20 look short. One or two bands added to the first 11 lines and one or two added between lines 11 and 20 will fill in things nicely.
Edit: Counting fixed.

They don't always announce late nights....sometimes we wait for the schedule.
Cafe acts are coming soon. Maybe this week since Coachella is now over.

In my opinion, I feel like they are just doing things differently this year. It seems intentional that they are spacing out the additions, as we have had multiple rounds of a few adds here and there. Also, you really cannot blame the ticket situation on Bonnaroo. Ticketmaster runs their ticket sales, and it was their servers that failed on that one... I also really cannot imagine any other huge additions with this already stacked lineup. Certainly not NY&CH. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like this lineup is way better from top to bottom than any of the previous three I've attended.
Bonnaroo is fine. Maybe they are doing things differently because of the two weeks of Coachella? But really, is it that big of a deal? The fact that bands consistently put out updates or press releases about playing Bonnaroo on the days we get adds tells me Bonnaroo is doing this intentionally and on their schedule.

Maybe I'm over thinking it but I still think they are looking for one more "big" thing and haven't found it yet.

You're overthinking it. Its possible there was a big name that fell through (NY&CH according to insider) but at this stage I doubt they're looking to add anyone.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
