Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo in 2013!!
right now we have 90 names on the lineup (91 counting aziz). last year there 106 spots on the schedule. so we have 15-16 more adds to come. plus cafe and comedy.
hope this is true, i mean im already going to have so many conflicts, but my goal is no down time this year haha
Nashville Cream: Are any of the three bands you play in gonna play Bonnaroo this year?
Maynard James Keenan: I think Puscifer was offered a slot, but we really didn’t have any interest in playing in the same tent with Danzig and Alice Cooper. SORRY.
NC: [Laughs] Why not?
MJK: Uh, it didn’t quite fit.
NC: Do you think that’s the result of people just assuming that, because of your association with Tool, it WOULD fit?
MJK: Yup. Absolutely.
NC: Is that a perception that you often have to contend with in Puscifer?
MJK: Every. quacking. Day.
So really....what's the deal with this? Maynard just being a weenie for no reason?
NO reggae anywhere on the initial lineup or additions......sad.
Well you have SOJA on the intial line up for a taste of reggae. Lets hope Toots is added in a second round of "real additions".
I shouldnt be complaining. Most of the undercard bands that I was hoping for ended up on the initial lineup....in a perfect world WU LYF and Other Lives would be at Roo 12'....but that doesnt seem likey.
We'll definitely be getting more stage/tent additions, in addition to comedy and cafe's. There's still too many open spots, assuming they're not cutting back this year, and there's really not a lot of country or reggae/world music yet, which will definitely be added. I'd say we probably have all the metal/hardcore stuff we're gonna get though.
So like everyone i'm shocked it is soo few adds, i feel like there has to be a second addtion right?? I like the Santigold add and am interested in The Cave Singers since most of you seem to be raving about them. Kinda shocked Fun. is there and also that they are so low, mainly because i think i've heard that gosh darn "We Are Young" song quoted/sung/playing by every female/hipster in jersey. Altogether i'm not too disappointed mainly because unlike sooooo many of you, i wasn't thinking big like Jack White. But don't get your hopes down people Maybe possibly perhaps could still 50/50 shot happen
Anybody notice the lineup order has shifted? Blind Pilot jumped way up, right underneath Little Dragon, before they were between Grouplove and ALO, and SOJA jumped up between Alabama Shakes and Das Racist, when before, they were the 6th last name on the bill.
VERY meh additions if you ask me, but I adore the initial lineup enough that I don't care.
I feel the same way. I'm not blown away by any of these (though I know nothing of fun.) but I already had worries over conflicts from the initial line-up.

This is like the 27th time that bands have moved up or down. Probably has something to do with scheduling.
since we are getting more additions, i'm hoping for Allen Stone. a friend convinced me to go with him to Atlanta to see him and it was one of the more fun shows I've ever been to.
Thats also what I was thinking, but these adds seem bigger than in past years so I'm thinking we'll get some more smaller adds like Alberto said, in addition to the Cafe adds.

I think anyone who had their hopes up for Jack White should crush it right now. I highly highly doubt he would be announced during the 2nd half of the stage additions.

How long does Bad Brains play for? If the Danzig set is 2 hours long and they're a LN, whoever plays before them cant play much longer than 1hr - 1:15.
Maybe something like,
Mariachi el Bronx > Kvelertak > Puscifer > Flogging Molly > Alice Cooper >>>> Bad Brains (12:30 - 1:30) > Danzig Legacy (2:00 - 4:00)
No ricardo. As awesome as it would be they aren't going to start having less bands all of a sudden. They will reach the appropriate amount of tent/stage acts as always.

Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver

What? STS9 played all night and Dr. John got an hour and a half before them. If they were going to list 2 hour late night shows they would have done it a long time ago.
